I have a feeling this set is gonna cost a good chunk of change. BBTS is charging 19.99 for those little parts for the G1seeker wings, imagine what this is gonna cost. My guess, probably the price of the figure itself and then some. Either way I'm still on board if they make one for the takara version.

 

I guess shin fillins still aren't in the pipeline for this guy if you're team is already finalizing the proto pieces. Assuming this initial set of pieces is quality stuff when all is said and done I'd totally be down for a secondary pack that included shin fills and a new bigger shield. ^_^

You can "unlock" them from the anchor pieces but it is the chest pieces that become the wings.

Yeah, it will obviously be more than the US retail version for the kit.

We might as well design a whole new figure at that point. No shin fillers.. I personally considered new legs/tail...but we would be looking at like $100 upgrade.. lol...no thanks..

yeah, no shield will be made by us. Grimlock never had a shield before the game.

 

Thanks for the heads up on the pricing. On paper, I'm quick to say that may be too much for me to invest in the Hasbro version of the figure, but that said, I'm a SUCKER for good photos so when I see this kit in action I'll be in love all over again. I think FoC Grimlock is a fantastic design that got rushed out the door somewhat incomplete. Encline's TLC is going to fix a major flaw in the figure and the weapons kit will make him instantly more striking.

If the kit is as cool as I'm imagining, I'm going to double dip and buy the TG19 version so I've got a metallic Grimlock with encline's kit.

I keep waiting for a 3rd Party company to make a Masterpiece scale Grimlock of some sort and I'd love for it to be FoC version.

do you think it would be possible to have the sword somewhat transform so the hand gaurd with the scale looking things could retract maybe buy pushing the handel up or something

 

Please have a set as follows:

-Both head sculpts and visor colors
-2x Sword
-2x Gun
-Chest piece

And make it reasonably priced ($30-ish?), and then I will love you forever.
