Huh. That's an odd find. I'm not too interested in Soundblaster but if this seller finds some white Deluxe Wheeljacks (with the G1-ish head sculpt), I'd be all over that.

 

I have asked them about Que , Wheeljack , and Bumblebee from that wave and they said this is the only one they have.

I see they had a few up with $200 buy it now.

 

me and my friend each got one for 150. we did the bin best offer for those two.

i know it might be a bit, but thats the going rate right now. we did not want to miss out. this could be all, or maybe they get 100 of them for 50 bucks.

I lucked out and was one of the initial buyers when it was a auction for $75 shipped.

I picked up one of these from this seller for $150 also. Thanks for the heads-up on this, although I feel kinda stupid for paying that much for this. I gotta figure, this is a pretty rare item, though, so it will be a cool thing to have. I don't have this mold yet either, so I look forward to transforming it. It sound like the consensus is that this is a fun mold to fiddle with. Any chance this is a KO? Have there been reports of a KO of this mold?

 

there are no KO's of this mold nor will this be a KO.

these things happen every now and then a few handle fulls of sample get around and made available for sale.

rumor is someone tracked the leadfoots that have sold and is around or just above 30.

but again, no one knows. could be 10 or 100. could get released in the next movie line or the 30th anniversary line.

This is my 4th unreleased figure (5th if you count the fact I had Ultra Magnus Henkei several months before release)

I track the sales of the Target Leadfoot as I was wondering how many there might just be. There are currently none listed on ebay. There have been about 30+ sales of Loose Deluxe Leadfoot and only one Boxed version which had Topspin and was a product sample I am sure.

Currently I own the Blue Henkei Bumblebee , SDCC Prototype Nemesis Prime , Target Leadfoot and Soundwave / Soundblaster repaint.

Curious as to what other finished product prototypes / unreleased figures are out there. I saw Frenzy and Gears from the Prime line earlier this year but missed out on both and now regret not bidding higher on both.

 

Just FYI had you won either frenzy or gears, you would have had hasbro and the police department detective from rhode island on you asking for it back or be pressed with charges of stolen property.

i would know as i won the frenzy and had to return it to hasbro.

 

$150 is quite a bit for a deluxe Soundwave/Soundblaster. I would really love a Leadfoot though...but I just can't pull the trigger, even for the unlabeled version at $60...

I do not know how I would of handled that situation myself. I have had issues in other collector scenes involving a company who had purchased copyrights to Video Games that I had the right to distribute. I won that battle fortunately. They would have to prove that I knowingly purchased stolen property. I would be right there with my lawyer ready to battle.

 

I got my money back yes. And there really was no way to deny it as it was sold on eBay and the police had the sellers and my info. If I did not return it the seller and myself would have faced the charges.

I wanted to keep it of course but not worth getting a lawyer or the seller and myself in trouble.

I don't see what the big deal was as we already knew the possibility of those figures because the head reveals in the instructions and not like they were a new mold.

Oh well. Just be careful what you buy. I think since it was a us seller they wanted to make an example but who knows.

 

How did they get the figure to begin with? Was it actually stolen?

 

I'm still pissed we didn't deluxe Leadfoot...
