Hi guys, just thinking the other day about the resurgence of the Masterpiece line and thought, well, which toys should be considered Masterpieces of their own line. So I made a list of the toys that I believe (and obviously, it's my personal opinion) should be called their own Masterpiece when taking in consideration the line they belong to.
My parameters were screen accuracy, articulation and the general feel of the toy compared to its brethren.
Please feel free to add or tell me how crazy I am of the choices, or just post your own list if so inclined.
Once again thanks for the replies guys.

    G1

    Jetfire
    Shockwave
    Omega Supreme
    Predaking
Sky lynx (weird, but screen accurate)

    Animated

    Leader Megatron
    Blurr
    Shockwave/Longarm
    Wreck-Gar

    Classics/Universe/HFTD/RTS

Cyclonus (RTS because of the more accurate deco)
    Inferno
    Onslaught (Classics ultra class)
    Special ops Jazz
    Unicron (25th Anniversary)
    Classics Starscream
    Sunstreaker
    Vector Prime
    Warpath
    Wreck-Gar
Blurr/Drift (well, not "screen" accurate, but accurate nonetheless)

    Movieverse

    ROTF Leader Class Optimus Prime
    HA Bumblebee
    ROTF Long Haul (Voyager)
    HA Jazz
HFTD Leader Class Starscream (I know, he got an official "masterpiece" toy, but I think that just cements the choice)
ROTF Mindwipe ( I know he's nowhere to be found in media, but this figure is great)

    Prime

    FE Starscream
    FE Arcee
    FE Optimus Prime
    PRID Vehicon

These are just some of the ones and some of the lines that I think merit that "masterpiece" moniker (again, in their own line and compared to others from that line).
    What do you guys think?

    90% of them :lol

But mostly Big Convoy. I find Big Convoy to be the most "Masterpiece-esque" figure of that line.

I think you should put in the note that his only applies to post-transmetal figures. Most of the season 1 figures are horribly inaccurate to the show.

Anyways, yeah, I'd agree that pretty much anything with the words "Transmetal" on it are pretty dead-on in terms of screen-accuracy. (I think Rampage is really the only major offender in this respect.)

A good chunk of Animated guys (like Prowl, Blitzwing, and Shockwave) also fit the bill.

Yeah, and it was mostly the American stuff that suffered from the inaccuracies.
The BWII & BWN figures were all pretty dead-on.

And don't forget about TM2 Blackarachnia... She wasn't exactly accurate to her show counterpart either. :lol
