ONE OF THE NINJAS IS A FUCKING SHARK.

God dammit I'll probably never own these.

Also, I find it interesting that the individuals look very TF, but the combined mode is all kinds of Brave.

 

No stickers on the new toys that was only to keep the cost down due to the high yen and a lame idea to try to pick up some of the younger model kit market.

These Go Toys (Beast Hunters) have no stickers and the 'Deluxes' are packed on cards not in boxes as with the Micron Arms stuff.

Personally I hope they still make some more Microns be they kits or one more like the Armada era as I'd like to see some weapon like ones or some animal ones done well to fit in with the themes.

Even some repaints of existing ones might be nice (like Megatron's giant Bat Scythe for example) so you could put daft wings on the Sharkticon inspired remould.

I hope the Japanese Megatron has a unique colourscheme that would be fun to see perhaps Yellow and Purple like the Botshot.

 

This looks very, very promising. I love the Getter Robo style combinations.
But that price...  

 

I need that ninja team. Predaking eat your heart out. Their's a new beast combiner in town.

Also I like the repaints they have of Ripclaw and Grimwing.

 

Is it possible to mix and match between the two different combiner teams?

 

Hot DAMN. Looks like I have some things to import. But Jesus does that price really hinder me from doing so.

 

since it really has nothing to do with the current continuity, I have no need for either teams.

 

I don't think that much of the toyline has that much to do with the continuity anyway there's supposed to be very few actual Predacon's (plural) in the show.
I've only seen CGI for selected characters like BH Bee and BH Optimus (and perhaps Wheeljack & Shockwave) Not a sniff of an upgraded Smokescreen, Soundwave, Knockout, Megatron, Ratchet, Starscream,Bulkhead or Arcee as far as I know - unless some of the CGI is Toy CGI and not Cartoon but it looked like cartoon grade CGI for BH Bee suggesting he does get a spikey mode in the show. *Bet he still doesn't talk though*.

It seems likely some will be upgraded and some won't (as with Rhinox in Beast Wars) regardless of the contents of the toyline. It's a shame really as there still seems to be no sign of Thundertron yet either. and I doubt they have time for him now. but on the bright side he'd make a good Beast mode Alpha Trion toy for a Botcon release so he's not a total waste.

But if they were not going to use him at all I'd really have preferred a larger Insection toy I just hope they might consider squeezing in a quick Beast Hunters goodbye wave in 2014 before the next Movie toyline is inflicted on us all. and they can provide the likes of an Insection or a Skyquake, BH Thundercracker Deluxe in there or even simply release the Takara Go Toys as TRU exclusive or something like that.

 

Hence the qualifier "vibe."

Hmm their combined modes don't look as awesome as i had hoped. the legs look a bit thin to me.

 

According to the solicitation schedule, there will be a tie-in with a major fast food chain in June, where DVD will be distributed....has to be Macca's Happy Meal, no? I hope we'll get to see some of the show although it's more likely to be promo shots of the toys.
