Its not really well formed when he himself admits he never looked it up and he's wrong, because the new show uses the same origin story as the comics and cartoons did, The sludge was an alien substance itself, they just assumed it was nuclear at first, so they've always had somewhat alien origins, although they have always been turtles as it should be and every adaption has followed that proper origin story up until the rumours of this movie. The original script made them not really brothers and not actually turtles or aliens either, but trained ninja from another dimension of turtle-like beings. It was actually surprisingly good til it hit that point. Megan Fox being April O'Neil gets people upset because she's a crap actor and Michael Bay has shown with the TF movies that he will only use her to get horny teen boys in the cinema with frequent obnoxiously pervy shots. Maybe we'll be proven wrong and she has learned acting skills and Michael Bay has wizened up and will use her as a character rather then a piece of scenery, but precedent says neither will happen.
The new cartoon does a surprisingly good job of mixing old and new into something really enjoyable. I wasn't sure what I'd think of a teenage April, but the show makes it feel like the changes actually fit instead of just changing things for the sake of changing things. I'm just not sure that the live action movie will be able to capture what makes the new cartoon work so well. Or what made the original cartoons and comic books work.

Yes, which was what I was saying in that exact same sentence; they themselves are not aliens, but aliens are the reason that they exist. That's carried over in nearly every adaptation, including the most recent cartoons.
Yep and I think the 80s cartoon didn't have the ooze be alien-made, either. But the two most recent cartoons have kept its origin.

While it is kind of splitting hairs there still seems to be a fairly substantial difference between alien and an alien connection in some way. Martian Manhunter for example is alien but Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, and John Stewart are all very much Earth humans even if it's an alien ring that gives them their power.
Well, they'll be horny until they realize that she has a kid now, that they are ogling some baby's mother. I doubt she would be able to get with a sexy outfit since her pregnancy, birthing and baby feeding anyway, she is likely saggy and baggy about her stomach and boobs and not in the shape she used to be. I know plenty of girls who gave birth and still have bodies to die for, you wouldnt even say they ever gave birth to begin with. ur post was too judgmental in my view and i think this is not the reason she wont be working on T4 again, i think that even though she and Michael Bay allegedly mended fences they just decided working together wouldnt be a good idea. They might still have issues and fence mending might have been just for show and even if not they know what its like for them to work together and conscious of the issues that might come up. all things considered meganąs acting was waz better than Rosies
