Thought I'd post a picture of Quake. He has some issues but he's fun. I purchased a FoC Grimlock to round out my order at TFSource for my son and he and Quake look natural together....

At least Grimlock thinks so.

 

Got mne last night, haven't had a chance to mess around with them yet but everything looks good at a glance. Cannot wait to get into them this weekend - Also just in case it hasn't been mentioned before. Quake does not come in the same box as Munitioner and Explorer. He is in a seperate little bag, so make sure you don't throw away your packaging and forget him (like I almost did)

 

Can anyone get a good picture of the bios on the back of the box for Munitioner and Explorer?

I'm so happy to see some positivity in a FP thread. It has been a while.

Also glad to see these guys are not suffering any QC issues and that those that missed the boat the first time around finally have this guy. Collosus has been a center piece from day one and even with Giant, Intimidator and Feral Rex joining him he only gets better.

On a slightly related note (and because I lost my keys to that room) I finally received Car Crash and T-Bone yesterday. Love em to bits. It has been so long that I forgot the feeling of holding a new FP figure in hand and what it does to you. Bring on the rest FP, Collossus needs his Intimidator buddy.

 

Yeah, Fansproject is frustrating when it comes to keeping their fanbase "in the know" but they really do make damn fine toys. The quality on their more recent stuff far surpasses anything Hasbro puts out.

 

Are there any pics of this set combined with the RotF/Universe Combaticons? I've skimmed this thread (and google) and couldn't find any.

It finally arrived.  

 

Got my set today. I really like the new color schemes on Explorer and Munitioner. The orange on Munitioner is much better in hand than in photos, it isn't nearly as bright as it looked. Plus purple visor FTW! Definitely using the weapons from the new set, may still use my first set of canons though as I think I like the lighter gunmetal color. The new one is a bit dark. Probably using the dark grey feet too, the blue ones are.... weird. I know why they did it, I think I just prefer the feet grey instead of blue. I'll see how it looks on Bruticus when I get home though.

Fiddled with Quake a bit. He's cooler than I thought he'd be. A little fiddly though. I transformed him and when I was compressing his arm his fist popped off. I hadn't rotated it correctly. Had my first "oh shit!!!" moment when it went under my desk. It's pretty tiny but I found it. Thank you iPhone flashlight!!! haha

 

Im just blown away by how impressive this fig is. Soo glad i finally have it on my shelf to show off.

 

Another pic of bruticus. The quakewave fig is pretty cool. Gun mode is ehh but looks pretty cool in botmode. Not a bad bonus with the FP crossfire set.
