That was decent, while the art wasn't terrible it was distracting. Maybe I'll have more to say later.
Does anyone know how to deal with glitches on the iPad Transformers comixology app? I purchased the book, but it won't let me read it. I just have a useless download button that does nothing. I logged into an Android app I downloaded last night for my Android device (from the google play store) and MTMTE doesn't even appear in my purchases, I don't have the option of downloading at all there. If anyone knows how to fix either glitch, could they kindly PM me or leave me a VM? I would be highly appreciative. I won't be checking this thread again until the problem is fixed because spoilers. So yeah, if you could message me, that'd be nice. Thanks. UPDATE: iPad app fixed. Could still use help with the Android one though.
What if the coffin they're not supposed to open is Pipes? It would be oddly interesting if the cure for the virus turned him into a zombie. Just thinking
"He just went 'uhhrrr.'" "You're sure you're not imagining it?" "You think that's the best my imagination can come up with?"
Good issue. Now that Wing and Mach are both dead I'm guessing Landcross is not a possibility any time soon :-( It was nice to see the emotional aftermath, and watch the different characters trying to deal with it.
Actually, it was made specifically clear before that the Wing that died in Drift's miniseries was NOT the Landcross member. It wouldn't be hard to have the same type of deal with Mach.
Ah, how did I miss that bit of information? I just assumed it was. But yea they could do that for Mach now. Where/when was that stated, since I clearly missed it.
It was in either one of the editor commentaries or one of the letters at the end of another issue. I'd have dig out and look through, but it was made particularly clear that they weren't the same bot.
I really wish I didn't find the art as distracting as I do. I lost out on a good deal of the emotional weight of the issue because I couldn't stop noticing that almost everyone was drawn exactly the same height. Tailgate was seriously freaking jacked in this issue. Guess the little guy got tired of Cyclonus and his spousal abuse and started hitting the steroids?
I really liked the art, very deep lines good shadows. Even better, the story was deeply engrossing, I don't think we'll see better transformers comics in our lifetime.
You have a very limited sense of what love is. I'll save you the "asexuals can be in love" speech since you've already gotten it like twice, but know that I am in agreement with it. What I'd like to make you aware of is how completely paranoid you are currently behaving towards relationships in this series in general. Tailgate and Cyclonus never exchanged any energon. Cyclonus bashed Tailgate's vial and he never offered Tailgate any of his own ever. I'm a bit of a romantic. I like the idea, personally. However, I do not see their relationship becoming canonically similar to CD and RW's. It's far too abusive. They may become close, but I don't think they'll get "I love you" close. Ratchet and Drift aren't even close to having a romantic attachment at all. I don't even know how you'd think that. If you're picking up the homos vibe from Ratchet (a doctor, a person who is comforting and caring by nature) helping up a guy who got smacked in the head, you're looking far further into it than any average reader would. For what, exactly? I feel like you're so stubbornly against the idea of romantic relationships that you've come to see even friendship as a threat to your action/adventure fix. So try to chill yourself. Ya listenin' to me? It's not gonna happen. As for Domes and Rewind, all I can say is that it is canon, and if you want to stay with this series, you're going to have to deal with that. However, I think if you put a bit more faith in Mr. Roberts' abilities, you'd find that it's another great facet of a so far brilliantly told story. (and if that's all it ever means to you, that's okay.) Just try to give it a chance, mah man. You have to admit the relationship made for a good story, sets up a new one, and creates interesting character development for Chromedome. And just a reminder; they posed no threat to the action aspect of the comic. Rewind went to battles. Chromedome fought a giant dinosaur! The action and adventure will always be there. It's a spaceship adventure story for pete's sake. MTMTE is not going to be consumed by yaoi. So relax a little, okay? thank you for that disgusting yet comical mental image. That was so gross I actually laughed out loud.
Maybe Grapple? He's an architect, so that's the closest thing that they may have to a metal worker/welder.
I'm cool with the sentimentality of it. At its most extreme its bromance, but that's as far as it goes, they've been through a lot together. That's all it has to mean. This story is about different people getting together and forming bonds. Since they're obviously asexual, the most they will do as stand next to each and talk, I've got no issue there.
