    Come on official confirmation. If it's at least as good as Cybertron (including a competent English dub), I'll take this new series over Prime.

    Considering IDW has been slowly introducing every single Japanese Transformer, I don't think that's really correct anymore.

    Me too. I mean don't get me wrong I love Animated and Prime but i do love some anime.

    I wonder what seiyu's they should cast: I'd love to see Koichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara.

    Hasbro, please dub this. This would make for great filler for 2014. I mean we need something decent while TF4 is released.

    No Japan-produced TF series has ever qualified as "something decent." The toys have potential, though.

    I sincerely hope this is not a replacement direction from what Hasbro has been making with the current team of writers that have made Transformers Animated and Transformers Prime.
    These 2 cartoons are so much better than what Japan / China could ever produce. I didn't care for anything from the Micron series.

    No, we're not. But the poster does say "Japan-original new anime!". That's pretty unambiguous.

    You DO realize that the *show* was more or less the same show, right? That just the *toys* were (marginally) different?

    I mean, some of the characterizations were a little different and all, but that only accounts for so much change when you're dubbing a show...

    I keep reading comments of people complaining about how Japanese Transformers doesn't really fit their taste, well, too bad Japan doesn't really care as long as they sell well to their intended audience in their country.

    I would want to see more TF media. If we have more series we have a better chance to have at least one good series.

    But as pointed by Knightdramon, the recent history didn't help so much. I like RID, but the Japanese Beast Wars and UT are terrible shows.

    I am the only one to see "Brave" looking those new toys?
