Black light gives off UVA waves. too much UVA can cause the plastic to yellow. think of it like the Sun.

 

The UV radiation black lights generate will still have the same effect on all plastic as normal light. Also when black plastic deteriorates, it fades. A common example would be black plastic parts on a car.

 

i know thats why i might have them on for like 30 mins most like once every few days i dont have them on 24/7 .Though when ever i have them on i worry about tigertron so far hes still nice and white

 

Ironic thing about Tigertron is yellowing makes the tiger mode more realistic.

 

i rather get a already yellowed tiger instead of slowly watch my nice white one slowly turn yellow lol

I strongly disapprove of this. Black light can and will begin the photo-degradation process. Your figures are gonna look real cool with greened blues and yellowed whites.

 

That's only if u have the light on for hours at a time I maybe have mine on at most 20mins and if ur worried about the fading use a blue LED light it dose about the same thing
