Yeah characters have been done twice or more, but some of us sit and wait patiently for 5th or 9th if necessary to buy. Im not going to settle until I feel theres an impossibility of anyone gettin right. PE Arcee isnt anything tempting and I brought Delicate Warrior instead because its G1 acturate. MMC will still get my money because I need a modern Arcee with Car alt mode as it should be. Btw people own over 40 spideys, batman toy figure variations and nobody complains but TF 3rd Party fans about that

 

It isn't really the multiple variations of a character that bother me. It is not having enough money/space for them all and having to chose which one I think is best. Although, I do prefer having choices instead of just one crappy figure that I will buy because it is the only one of that character. I probably won't buy this, but I hope they make it.

 

Transbot's comment basically breaks down into "I like MMCs April Fools color-palette better than that red/black one". Think you're overreacting much?

Should she be pink because all girl bots are pink? In terms of transformers in general, Elita and Arcee are the only pink ones I can think of in a growing cast of fembots. Even out of the 5-6 fembots out of the entire original G1 continuity that makes the majority of fembots not pink. Should she be pink because all girl-bots are pink? No, she should be pink because that is clearly the character she is supposed to reflect.

As for a feral rex 7th member? I can totally dig the peach color Transbot is referring to. It is after all, a color scheme MMC came up with to try to convince us she's the 6th member on April Fools. And it largely worked causing lots of discussion, confusion, and debate on whether it was true or not despite her clearly being a mold that didn't fit anything MMC had stated on the 6th figure before.

 

I was replying to transbot's ridiculous post about the Predaqueen. I did not mean that characters that are supposed to be pink shouldn't be pink. If they are making an homage figure, it should be the colors of the character they are homaging. Arcee should absolutely be pink. You should read what I wrote. The hypothetical "Predaqueen" should match the rest of the predacons. Transbot said David Hingtgen's Feral Rex palette (he actually used "pallet" which is a wood thing for shipping not a set of colors) was too harsh and went on to say "Predaqueen to be the embodiment of all things female externally and a sadistic evil manipulative (thats how she "controls" FR) cunt internally", which is pretty damn misogynistic. I try to stomp on hate for women when I find it. If you were "getting the Feralcon colors and making them feminine", they would no longer be the Feralcon colors. How exactly would you make colors "more feminine" and have them match the set? I replied over the top to point out how stupid what he said was. Basically he said it needs to have tits in a feminine color and be a bitch. There will be plenty of other fembots in "feminine" colors, I want this imaginary Predaqueen to be a badass and match the set.

I have looked at all the various Arcee versions that have come out over the years, but this is the only one I have seen that I would buy. So I hope the factory has a spare timeslot between all the Predacon and Sixshot work they are doing!

Adding my vote again for this toy^^
While I HAVE bought the PE Arcee toy, I bought her to be an original character, NOT Arcee (my blue 'battle' version is named Crossfire and is a member of the Wreckers in my collection )
I passed on Valkyrie and Delicate Warrior because while they were very G1, I was disappointed with how both molds looked (they're decent toys, don't get me wrong, but feel more G1 then classics to me, which is my main collection line). I'm idly debating getting a Delicate Warrior if I see one for sale to paint into the Paradron Medic... but again that would be for a character BESIDES Arcee

This is so AWESOME. It looks just right for me in both modes, fits in with the classics line, and she's well armed with those swords and pistols! ^^

 

Honestly this is the only fandom where I see a whole lot of this "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE" attitude towards figures and such. I mean, as a comicbook super-hero fan, I own dozens of figures of some characters. I have no issue treating a figure with a different aesthetic or feature as unique.

It's crazy really, because with TF's you get different designs, different alt modes, different styles, different transformations, different mechanics, etc. The idea that there has to be only one true representation of a character is madness.  

 

I too am like you and own several depictions of certain superhero characters, akahe hulk, wolverine etc The only difference I see here with TF fans, which I find totally understandable especially in the 3rd party market, is with price point. Is much easier to buy 10 different Hulks for 100, then to buy 10 different Arcees for 500-1000 dollars. Pure economics.

I have 5 optimus' and 4 nemesis primes on my shelf all standing toe to toe and it's awesome. I can only hope I have reason to continue buying more OP's and NP's as the years go on lol.

As for Arcee, I found her g1 design kinda offputting so delicate warrior did nothing for me. But MMC's, PE's, heck even Primes take on her, all great, all worth owning and sharing the same shelf space.

 

I've got a Hot Rod, Grimlock, and Galav=tron collection along with multiple Optimui (of course). Actually, this spurred me to get PE's take as I kinda like the idea of having three very different takes on Arcee (not counting Valkerie which I also own).

I bought PE Arcee 2 days before this was announced, and this is a waaaaaayyyy better G1 "Classics" Arcee, IMO.

Don't sweat it. PE Arcee is a very good figure and the MMC version is about a year away (assumed).

You will have more than enough time to enjoy the PE version (whatch out for her knees) and to save up for the MMC Femme Fatale line
