The top can easily fall forward...but it does look good.

I think spreading the legs out helps with the balancing.

If not for MMC Feral, I'd be keeping it in my collection....

I think if your own product came with a bigger cod piece, that would balance out the look and I would be interested in it instead of this. But if you can make a fix for this then I would get that also.

Do you have the cannon extension?

The best part of that set is the connecting piece between Divebomb and Razorclaw.

Good suggestion...I'll probably end up doing both, again, provided I can actually fix the CD kit...

Honestly, just a bracket going across both thighs and the butt will keep it from tipping... but with that goes the ability to pose him..

I had all the CD parts (head, wings, hands, mane, sword, etc.) as a whole in my stack at TFsource. My credit card got compromised sometime last week and I had to reorder a new one. Shortly after, I got the email that CD-36 thighs finally were in stock indicating my complete stack order would be charged soon. Due to my credit card number being replaced, my charge was declined.

They are giving me 10 days to call back and use a different credit card. But after reading how disappointing the quality is on most of the parts including the floppy CD-36 thighs, I'm glad the card got declined, so I don't have to spend $325+ on all these iffy-quality parts. Plus, after seeing MMC Feral Rex, I rather put my money to that. Shame that CD couldn't redeem themselves with these thigh add-ons.

I got all the parts released for Predaking so far except CD-36 and so far so good, no issues at all, plastic quality is great and everything works as it should. Same with my Devastator upgrades.

    This.

Thanks for the review. It was most helpful. Have been waiting for someone to comment on the Piranacon parts as I'm still on the fence about them (namely the head and the cannons).

I've been collecting all the ad on parts as they've been released, waiting till they're complete to put them all together.

Well, I just now finally got King together with all the ad on parts, and personally I'm PROFOUNDLY disappointed.

He looks cool... for the 3 seconds he gingerly stands before falling completely apart. The thigh piece especially is of shoddy quality. I had to replace the screw and completely rig the waist swivel after it broke the first time I connected it. The waist swivel connection is now "fixed", but immovable (not that I can even touch this guy anyway). The crotch plates hang by a thread and fall apart with a heavy breath (same goes for the mane extensions). The wings and shoulder cannons cling for dear life under their own weight. The shoulder connection piece for divebomb is super loose, and falls out at the the slightest bump.

The thighs were delayed significantly for QC, and this is what we get? And no back and forth ratchets?! For as heavy as these figures are?!? REALLY?!

The feet and hands are the only pieces that hold like they should.

It looks GREAT conceptually, but it's too fragile to even display much less handle. I think about how long I've waited to complete this set, the small fortune I've spent on it, and I cringe. I'm pretty forgiving of figures as long as I can at least stand it on a shelf to look cool. I was even kinda ok with the eye LED that just makes the entire head glow in a ridiculous fashion. The fact I can't even keep his combined mode together, regardless of any amount of zen-like patience, is pretty upsetting.
At least I can sigh in relief knowing that I wont ever be giving a dime to CD again.

Thank goodness we have Rex to look forward too.

I see what he was trying to do with the legs, but the gears don't extend down into the well far enough to ratchet. I think the fix would be to make the gear itself bigger, but the easier fix might be a new designed bottom...aka grundel piece...and that would allow him to ratchet

You summed up my thoughts 100%. "Zen-Like Patience" is spot on how I felt trying to keep his damn parts on and stable so I could take a picture. At least the crappy parts look good on .. when they stay on..

BTW, quick tip.. super glue the mane pieces to the connector bit that jams into Razorclaw. That way they don't fall off the bits when you attach them. Make it a solid piece.

I'm going to try wrapping the gears with rubber bands and see if that does anything to help but I need to go out and buy some first.

    Anyone try contacting crazydevy?

so i just got the last piece to the true king of all combiners and yea it tip only once so far... but i took apart the piece and saw that it looked like they were gonna put ratchets were i can so but idk y they didn't i think it would of drove up the cost but i think it would of been find then what he have now... but i put a little super glue around the area that holds the the thighs together to make it tighter and it helped... i didn't try to knock him down but i shuck my table and even the display and it passed the test... so thats the cheapest mode u can do so ur King wont go into a million pieces... cheers...

I'm in, I'm such a big Crazy Devy supporter. Besides, I have all of the other upgrades for Predaking. And he fits in nice with my Masterpiece collection and Hurcules. And the Unique Toys Not Predaking will be my classics Predaking.

How do you guys keep his left leg, Tantrum, stabilized? I find that it depresses into itself easily, and the correct length is only achieved with friction.

    Am I the only one?
