No, I meant Fall of Cybertron. Megatron looked great in WFC, then they changed him for some reason in FoC and he just became this bulky...thing and lost his fusion cannon.
Still like him. Hope he will be in BW season 1 colors, not Transmetal..but I'll pick him up anyway. Looks more than fine to me.
I'm actually pretty excited for this Megatron. Partially just because it's a new toy of a great character (that we were lucky enough to get both a new mold and remold of in 2006), but also because if you take the toy literally, it brings up interesting ideas. I consider all WfC/FoC toys to be G1 (like IDW), so this toy to me is BW Megatron in an older-style copy of G1 Grimlock's body. Not exactly sure how that fits into the G1/BW/BM timeline, but I'm leaning toward it being Beast Megatron somehow resurrected post-BM, and then executing a second time-travel scheme where he goes back to the early era of the Great War and uses Shockwave's tech to upgrade himself just as Shockwave upgraded Grimlock. I suppose he figures that with a "real" Decepti/Predacon using Dinobot (Dinocon?) tech, he can turn the tide of the war early on. Also, while I have a slight preference that they go for the Season 1 purple deco, they can use the TM1 deco instead, so long as the clear parts are a nice transparent purple.
I would much prefer this as Predacon or T-Wrecks, BW Megs is more iconic silhouette wise. That being said, if this thing looks better painted, I'm totes in.
if he ends up being Armada preds,he better come with minicons. or atleast some pcc minicons,i mean,it's been a while since hasbro used those.
am I the only one who is lost here? they didn't make a foc megs toy...did they? a pic would be great here cuz I think ur confused. ive been wrong before and I don't mind eating crow. so how about some pics to help me out here?
Yeah, they never made a FOC Megatron toy. I'm glad we aren't getting one because a t-rex Megatron is much cooler looking. The completionist in me wants one solely because I bought FOC Optimus, though.
I can see someone doing an arm mod for grimlocks head onto the arm. Its been done to animated but im sure that this may screw up the wiring on the lights. eh either way its not a major pass but not somthing ill get until its on sale. Id hope the predacon symbol is present on here though and the electronics considering leo prime was stripped of em aha
