Found the Hoist pic. Looks cool. I think I agree in that he looks better than Trailbreaker. I like how they did his gun.

Because the jp price is 5500 yen, which is about $55.44 at the current exchange rate. I'm guessing most hadn't seen the RK pre-order price yet, or the same questions would have been raised already.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon. $90 for Magnificus. Oof! That's painful! If RK has it for $85, then TF source will be a bit more expensive, but I could get free shipping if I order a few other things. I hope they don't match or go over the club price. Freaking club.

 

The way Hoist's crane folds up into a gun is a pretty neat little feature.

I actually like this toy more as Hoist than Trailbreaker...he looks weirdly taller.

 

Did no one else notice that Depth Charge is being called a subscription service figure and not the club freebie?

 

Maybe, maybe not. I'm thinking they won't as he's based on the comic appearance which has the green head and yellow eyes. It depends if they use that as their source or not. I'm hoping you're right though.

I was unsure about getting Hoist but now I ost definitely will be! He looks great!

 

Just a shame that Hoist and Trailbreaker are both Deluxe rather than Voyager scaled... =/

Also... is there any update with the Club Subscription figures??? Really, I expected them to roll out sometime in February, but then they said around Aprill... and here we are with no update so... *smh*

...really could use the resale fodder for Slipstream, Breakdown, and a few others... if to break even. Mostly interested in Scourge and Ultra Mammoth.

After just seeing the pic, I wouldn't say the Hoist remold/repaint necessarily looks better than Trailbreaker, but it still definitely looks awesome. Nice to finally have these two along with Blitzwing & Springer officially part of the Classics-verse line-up.

 

Wondering about that myself. I guess I'll have to write to the TFCC about that missing issue. Like issue 47 or 48 that I never got when it came out originally.  

As for the figures, had I more money, I'd definitely lay down the cash for this year's BotCon set, but I guess I'll settle for both Generations Trailbreaker and Hoist instead.
