it used to work before (though i had a little issue back then too) but now, it totally just wouldn't work no more.

The problem being my iPOD doesn't want to play anything (freezes) while up high in a plane (noticed it only when i'm flying to Hawaii)...i try the reboot but when the screen pops up, i get either a "use itunes and restore" or "cannot access folder, please go to HTTP:XXX)

whats sucks is that i see other people listening to their iPODs with no issues.

Anyone know what might have caused it (i have a 60GB Videos, 20GB is used by videos and music)

This only happens on planes? It works perfectly fine everywhere else?

That doesn't make much sense, unless there's a hardware component of your iPod that's become damaged and affected by pressure changes.

Have you run the iPod updater to ensure you have the latest software?

everythings updated. dont know what might cause it. it doesnt make sense to me either....and i dont think the plane can cause it (by electronic blockers) cause like i said earlier, other people iPODs worked.

i guess i can try apple support.

My iPod works fine on Planes; I listened to it on the way to/from Botcon. Sounds like there's something funny about yours in general, d00d.

Yeah, definitely apple support. My iPod worked perfectly the last time I was on a plane, when I was flying to Canada. My guess is there's some hardware issue with yours that's sensitive to the pressure change.

i asked my g/f about our Vegas trip we went to this past July, and she said she thinks it had no issues (my last trip to Hawaii was this past May and it worked 50% of the time))

Ya, I listen to it for quite some time on my way to Cali last spring, and then tested out how long I could play video before the battery died on the way back.
