I've resisted the 3rd party temptation, but at that price screw it. :lol

They are the same size as the G1 cassettes? They fit in Soundwave?

    Cool.

I can't get these in April, but assuming they're still around in May (and I'm thinking they could be), I may jump on these then.

I'd also like to see a Grand Slam and Raindance too.

I reeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy like that ape face.

edit* HOLY CRAP I DIDN'T SEE THE PRICE

$35 for two cassettes that are a tape, an animal and combine to a bot.

Well when the price is that right you have to buy it even if you have no connection to it.

I will wait a bit to see if this works with MP Soundwave but odds are these guys are bought.

p.s. Are these guys really going to be out in a month?? Seems soon considering all we see are cgi renders.

Meh, looks kinda dialed in. Very garage kit looking.

While Rhino Horn looked okay at best, this set is an easy pass.

Unlike Rhinohorn and Ironpaw, these just seem to be the G1 toys redone with ball joints. They weapons are seperate parts, and the same transformation as from 1987-88(?), but still that's all I want. G1 toys with more joints. I wonder if you could put the original toys Reprolabels on them?

Wow all over this. Not a bad price either. Plus the combiner is anatomically correct. ;)

I'll definitely pick these guys up. They're not quite up to the standards of the official Masterpiece cassettes, but at $35 they don't really need to be either.

For what it is worth, I would rather support them for making new products with original designs, than continue to judge them on their actions in the past. Especially with the new designer they have working for them.

Ultimately the product will stand or fall on it's own merits, rather than any past association. If the negative reaction to CODE and FPCore, and the turn around for iGear over the last few years has taught us anything, each 3P company is only as good as their last product. We TF fans are harsh mistresses to court, and any perceived credit can run out real fast.

Hmmmmm, tempted - as I always liked this duo... but I've always been neutral on them still being cassettes (preferring the 'target master' approach)... Yes, I know I'm weird ^^

The recent fiction they placed on Facebook has characters named Reverb and Resound. Reverb is a described as a pteranadon, and Resoound is some sort of land animal with an awkward gate... So I'm guessing Gurafi and Noizu making Decibel.

I've actually been keeping half an eye on ebay for these guys but the prices are always outrageous......I kept telling myself I didn't need them but they are the only two I need now to keep MP Soundwave company. I'm hoping someone like Chimungmung will get them tho.

$35 ain't bad....but on top of Hexatron..... I'll wait to see in hand images, we've been burned by third party tapes before.
