?

What are your thoughts on how to release this kit?

  1. Get Shapeways done by Spring. Painting req'd, but it will be quickly available for all 5 FOC molds

  2. Take up to 1 year to design & release via 3rd party. I can WAIT so I don't have to PAINT.

  3. Do both Shapeways (release soon) and 3rd party. (KO's will likely happen but I want the original)

  4. I just want SOMETHING to fix my Bruticus--a low-priced knockoff is all I need

Echo, those pictures are AWESOME! I think the best improvement by far is Blastoff arm cover!:rock

All the other changes are good, but Blastoff's piece, which looked the most out of place in the past, finally looks like it is part of the set. Bravo, man. Bravo:thumb

This is why my wallet doesn't like the fact that I have two Brutici. Cause those feet and that Blast Off cover look way better

Btw, you seem to have erased his left chest spike thing

I've never been into gestalt transformers... even after the release of Bruticus under the FOC line. But after seeing your kit here I won't lie that I am suddenly interested! Really great!

Thanks for the feedback...no, I won't be adding cost/complexity to the wing. It will compromise aesthetics and the priority is on a good looking combined mode.

Note that you can still attach the wing to Onslaught if the Blastoff sheild isn't attached or if there's no trailer at all. (As before)

Thank you, thank you. Good news: No, you don't need to have the wing attached underneath. :)

I'm going to look into putting the big cannon directly on Onslaught...if it doesn't affect the aesthetics, then I'll do it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for all the feedback...actually, these guys are still really easy to find around New York State/Eastern Ontario so maybe ask around a bit? Mine are getting wear and tear from all the measuring and taking parts on/off so I'm thinkng about a second 'mint' set. ;-)

Blastoff's sheild can stay on in Alt-mode, it will look like a bulkier shuttle, and at this time there's no purpose in Robot Mode, but when I get the actual parts I'll be playing around because maybe there will be a way to make it attach like a sheild or something and most importantly not affect any of the existing mechanical or aesthetic. Same for the other guys. There are so many 5mm tabs and ports on them now stuff I'm sure there will be fun things to do with all the stray parts.

Many thanks. It only took 5 versions. ;)  There was one or two I didn't share, they looked so bad. I'm finally satisfied with it too, thanks.

CRAP you're right!!! I had them in the wrong layer order in my digimockup file...I fixed it--thanks for letting me know. I was pretty tired when I posted last night.

Also, I updated the front page.

    All the best,

    --Echo

Once finished I know I'll be getting my hands on these!!!!! One favor though, can you possibly bulk up the upper legs? the calf areas I mean.......just that and the set would be as awesome as the fansproject upgrade set!!!!!

Great job man! Could you maybe attach the wheels attachments to the upper legs to beef up onslaught some?

    Glorious!

I think I'm still going to buy another Blast-Off to permanently mod into a better arm, but I love this stuff!

I'll definitely consider buying Bruticus and this set if I see pictures of it next to Giant with Amuro MkII's thigh mistransformation.

A few weeks ago, Hasbro.com had all 5 bots for $14.99 with free shipping. If Anyone's interested, a few places around my area have them from time to time. I could pick a few up a few, for the people overseas or places that they're hard to find, if anyone can pay me back for the bot, plus shipping?

So now he can look as he should have in the first place. I like it. I wouldn't have to be embarrased displaying it in combined mode.
Too bad I can't paint worth a damn.
