I don't worry about budget because lately I RARELY can find the figures I want in stores.

 

Anyone who lets wives or children interfere with collecting Transformers just isn't taking this hobby seriously enough.  

That's because all the best figures are third-party toys, and only available online.  

 

I keep it real.

I have no set budget, will preorder or buy as I wish to keep it as cheap as possible. If there is a real deal to be had your usually smarter taking it rather than waiting it out.

Also do ebay, toy shows, trades and anything else to keep a lid on costs, even bought a collection or two to sell off and use for other pieces I need.

Kids, girlfriend, mortgage and bills always come first.

I currently am pissed at Takara and they need to slow the F down lol

 

I don't have a set budget. If I see something I want, I see if I can fit it in. Though I make sure bills and all other expenses are covered first. And I always like to have money aside 'just in case' like if a friend needs some cash, or the lady friend wants to go out. But a little here and there is how I do it. On a deluxe, or voyager. I save up for third party.

 

No, but I've generally been more sensible with what I buy. I do get carried away every now and then if I see something I really want. For the most part though most things don't interest me or are to expensive that I just ignore it and live without. Although Takara really is pissing me off because they keep cranking out things I want but don't have the money for right now.

 

I have a budget in the sense that I only have so much money to spend on entertainment. Fortunately there is only a limited amount of transformers that I really want to spend money on. That I end up buying online due to the poor local availability and the high prices only adds to me being picky.

 

I thought I had a budget....but tend to go over that every week....until my wife kills me that is.

 

Now thats too funny.......Take the hobby too seriously...and one will find they dont have a wife and children  

Available on line...yes. Third party being the best....not so much

 

$100 a month does the job.

Anything I don't spend goes into savings.

Yeah I keep a ledger on an excel sheet. Trades, prices paid, shipping, ebay auctions, ect.

 

Nope I dont have any budget for this, thats y I only buy the one that I really like. And hell no for the same exact toy.I dont want this to be my necessity or addiction.
