Yeah, it would be a shame if they didn't have their weapons. I think the fear merely stems from them not being shone in the images we've seen. We just have a to wait a bit and I'm sure we'll get more pictures with them holding their weapons.

I ordered the Takara version two days ago to avoid the yellow visor and TRU distribution anyway. But, like the Hasbro MP-10, at that price I might not be able to resist buying the Hasbro version.

I think I'll just hang out for the glut of Soundwaves on eBay. I already bought the Tak cassettes on the cheap through Amazon JP.

Any idea on an in-store date for these? I'm betting mid July but I'd be happy with earlier.

The simple fact of Soundwaves accessories is this:

IF they are molded on a sprue that needs to be run they WILL be included.
IF they aren't, I would bet they won't be but that's no guarantee.

I'd LOVE to see Soundwave over the summer. I didn't think we'd see him until next Holiday Season as a way to maximize profits, but with the TRU SKU already showing up I would think that would ensure an earlier release.

I know someone else had posted Soundwave was due out in summer. Was that ever verified officially by Hasbro or is that only assumptive at this point?

In hand, those guns are very small and very pointy... It might be a health and safety concern for kids. I can't say I've seen a recent figure released by Hasbro that has included small loose pointy accessories like these. If they are included they may have to be a very soft plastic.

Does anyone already have a Takara MP Soundwave, but planning to get the Hasbro MP Soundwave too?

    I know I might.

Tentatively yes. As in, I would probably buy it if I saw it at TRU. But TRU distribution being what it is, I have serious doubts about that actually happening. And until the new Generations stuff hits, my hunting has drastically decreased. Just don't find Beast Hunters compelling enough to go look at TRU. Maybe my tune will change once the new season starts.

The yellow eyes coupled with all 5 tapes will make it an easy purchase knowing it is different enough to the Takara versions I have. The price being cheaper makes it that much easier.

yes. I plan to buy Hasbro and keep the tapes not named laserbeak and sell everything else. That way I can get the tapes cheaper.

    Ebay:

I have the Takara version and am quite happy with it. I will be getting the US version as well. I can't pass up the 5 cassettes and another Soundwave to keep in alt mode. You'd pay the same price just for the 4 cassettes from Takara.
One of my favorite Decepticons will have his own shelf after I get the US version :D

Pretty much my plan, though I'm still considering keeping the Soundwave and Laserbeak for alt. mode display.

Right here. I support the Hasbro release in any way I can, even if I already have the Takara releases. Been expecting it, and I really look forward to it.

Definitely getting the Hasbro version, and I have MP-13 and 15 already, and will get 16 at some point. I figure it'll be a good way to have a back up of the whole gang, just in case.
