New e-Hobby Cassette Figures Announced With Kissplay CD

    Thanks to Curt over at TFSource.com for the heads up on the new e-Hobby set.

    According to the e-mail, the set will contain a special CD that is in conjunction with the Kissplay radio program for the Nippon Cultural Broadcasting Inc. The colors of the figures are believed to be influenced by the three voice actresses: Lyrian, Yui Kano, and Satomi Akesaka.

    Included on the special CD is a re-arranged opening theme song of the
    first TF series in Japan.

    The package is illustrated by Yuki Oshima.

    Hmm. I'll wait for actual images to appear, just to make sure that's not a pink Ravage or anything. Why's this gotta be associated with all this KISS nonsense anyway. Coulda just done some straight-up cassette reissues.

    Hmm. When I saw this, I was kinda expecting some variation of Rumble and Ravage, to relate to the upcoming Alternators - and presumably Kiss Player toys. Wouldn't be surprised if this offer ties into the Alt-Cassette-Bots somehow, since most of the Kiss-Play bots seem to show up in their G1-esque incarnations first, at least in what little Manga I've seen.

    Knowing the premise of the line, they probably will.

    I'm in the same boat as you.

    It's bad enough this series tainted G1, but having the cassettes being repainted and used for this line, that REALLY pisses me off. :banghead:
