Galaxy Convoy and Sonic Bomber. Well i'd still like to track down a Cybertron Optimus Prime trailer that's in good condition..maybe the market will ease up because of this. I don't need a new figure i just want a new trailer (and his missiles)

 

I would love a reissue of Star Saber and Dia Atlas. Im sure Victory Leo will comes with Saber, would only make sence to reissue the set. I think that seeing the responce Fort Max got that may be why they decided to release to more large figures. If this is true that is..

I disagree actually. I collect vintage and reissues and I could care less about the perceived monetary value of my vintage figures. It's also part of the game to do your research and homework when buying vintage Transformers. Even before reissues there was always threats of replacements parts of KOs.

 

Are... Are there two Cybertron lines in that list?

They combine in base and ship modes. The ship mode is crazy big all 3 are a ton of fun to fiddle with. Dai Atlas would be lonely without his brethren.

 

Same here. I like that Encore generally makes changes for the better like another paint app, tampos, plastic molded in a different shade, et cetera. And having official reissues on the market is probably a disincentive to KOers looking for low-hanging fruit.

Metroplex didn't lead to Hot Spot and Silverbolt reissues either. At least not yet.

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if Takara double-dips with single releases of Star Saber and Dai Atlas, and then does the Victory Saber and Big Powered boxsets later on.

Yup I remember that, I just associate combining (and the need for gift sets) with those that do it on 'bot mode. It's why I could see individually reissued Darkwing and Dreadwind (or Buster and Hydra) releases as well, not that a gift set in either case would be a bad thing either by any means.

That's the only reason I'll hesitate for a second or two to make a preorder on these (assuming they do happen, of course), is if we get individual reissues first and gift sets later. I'll buy two hypothetical Victory Saber gift sets (one to combine, one to leave separate) but I wouldn't know what to do with an extra, individual Star Saber from an individual reissue that was purchased earlier).

Still doing the dance of joy over this rumor, but if its true I can see it being quite some time before we see actual confirmation on them. When the news about the last Predaking & Sixshot solicitations came out it took what, a year or two before we actually seen preorders go up for them? But this is definitely something I'm going to consider before taking the plunge on a vintage Dai Atlas or Star Saber. They were next on my grails list but now maybe I'll bide my time unless I find a really good deal.

 

Were here with ya. Own the original Nike Convoy plus actual Jordan x sneakers. They're 2 different style sneaks totally. Reissue/repaint would look nothing like Jordan's. that's why I'm skeptical. Sneaker heads should know this.

 

Ohhh time to save some money! These are the g1 reissues we need! I still want a g1 scorpinok!
