I myself would say MMC all the way, but thats me
maybe we should have rent-a-transformer on the board so people can give different figures a try, of course you have a you break it you buy it rule

I have 3 of the MP3 mold (Hasbro Starscream, Takara Skywarp and Ghost Starscream) and 3 of the MP11 mold (Starscream, Thundercracker, and Sunstorm) I have none of the MMC seekers so I really can't speak about them. They look like they are solid in robot mode, but the alt mode never has done anything for me.

It would depend on how you are going to display the figure. If you are keeping it in jet you can't go wrong with the MP 3. I think the robot form though leaves something to be desired, mainly because of the hip kibble. Two of my three are kept in their jet forms (in fact they have never been transformed out of them), while the other has been kept in robot but buried in the third or fourth row of a display (so you really can't see the hip kibble)

If you are keeping it in robot mode and MP11 is not a option (in robot mode MP11 is perfect) I would go with the MMC figure which does look rather nice in robot mode and would bring something unique to a one figure for each character collection.

As a huge mark for MMC and a big 3P collector, I have to say the two fit completely different needs in anyone's collection and I cannot see how someone would choose between them.

Just taking a stab at this... maybe people who have both MP3 and Screecher? I was asking which one was the better figure.

They're both Starscreams and I am choosing between them for reasons all my own. Or are you saying that it's wrong for me to choose between the two? Maybe if you read my replies throughout the thread you'll understand better. Or maybe if the question isn't to your liking, you should have just skipped the thread and not wasted your time posting.

Is the Screecher mold actually any good? Is it the normal MMC plastic, or is it something else? Kinda thinking about getting these three at some point before the BBTS sale goes away.

I have all three and some latter MMC, and I’d say it’s the usual plastic. Screecher mold however has lots of thin panels and sharp points. It’s looks fragile but isn’t, Starscream has survived being borrowed by my seeker loving preschooler. It’s much fiddlier than the latter bots due to smaller size. But it has turning gears etc cool festures, it’s very poseable and it looks amazing.

Edit: Checked, and it’s a lighter, harder plastic comparable to the IF carbots. Still, they’re handled alot and holding up well.

Thanks for the info. Think I'm going to pass on the Siege seekers and slowly pick these three up. Really don't know why I passed these up for so long, I don't think we're getting IDW seekers any time soon. Anyone have a size comparison with Tyrantron or one of the Feralcons?

Good choice, though I’m fond of Siege Starscream these are something else.

The MMC HoS Seekers are easily my favourite versions of the trio, brought down only because they're HoS instead of having proper jet modes. But they're absolutely loaded with posability and personality, and the weapon options are super fun.

It's my pipe dream that whoever designed this group can go back to MMC and do up a set up Guido's super-sleek Seeker design in the same style. While others have attempted the design before, and even in that scale, it's always been compromised in some way or another. Nope, a perfect, faithful adaptation of Guido's Seekers at this scale, with this same sense of character and proportions would be my absolute favourite thing ever.

Get the KBB KO of MP-11 runs 50-70$ shipped on ebay. The normal MP-11 is pretty dodgy QC and you'll likely be disappointed. The KBB fixes the most offensive issue with the mold imo the torso floppiness.

MP-03 doesn't present very well in robot mode, it's very kibbly and can't stand for shit. The MMC one seems pretty dated to me, but if you go that route it's going to be solid for what it is. MMC has always made good products imo.

If you are in the market for a MP sized Starscream, buy Maketoys Meteor, it is probably the best seller mold currently produced. I own all three version, as well as the Hasbro and the Takara seekers, go with Maketoys (watch a few reviews and read the thread on it).

    Ebay:
First I agree Meteor is the one to buy.

However, If you don’t have the funds and are looking to buy something “now”, go for MMC Screecher.

The MP3 has already been replaced by multiple better versions. If you buy it, you’ll want to replace it at some point. The MMC is a safe bet to be the only/best version of that style SS.
