Those CHMS Rainmakers look amazing. I thought Acidstorm was a different character? Because he looks like a dark green with a army cameo. This guy looks neon green. I really like the colors those CHMS ones used.

Hasbro's Acid Storm toy was darker and camouflage. CHMS did him more neon colored.

I know there was a G2 prototype seeker that looks very much like Acidstorm but if I remember correct it was supposed to be Starscream. Anyway I love seekers in different colors.

Acidstorm's name comes from Acid Rain. He makes acid rain, so he's an Acid Rainmaker.

Looking forward to these. Are there robot mode pics posted anywhere? Don't remember seeing them.

Did you work on this project Venksta?

The robot modes are ok, but I'll never have them in that form - having a g1 tetrajet in toy form is the sole appeal for me here

By next Saturday you can expect some clear shots at the toy, or at least the CAD models. Impossible Toys will be promoting the Tetra Seekers at Metrocon at Metropolis, our local TF event that I'm co-organizing, next Saturday.

And yes, I had involvement with this series. :)

Looking forward to it. Are they similar in design to their Alicon?

I don't know how it's designed, but it is from the same company as Alicon, so I asked.

Very cool. I look forward to it. The Alicon is a ton of fun and really says alot about Impossible Toys moving forward. I wish them all the best!

Slightly off topic, but did Impossible Toys ever make a cheaper 2nd run of Alicons (and discounted 2 and 3 packs for army builders) during the holidays as stated on their website?

I'm probably wrong but I know the Alicons have a heavy G1 influence in their design. Very primitive in feel and look. Which was fine since they were a primitive form of TF. Though the hollow tail is horrible. I think he's wanting to know if these will have a more Classics/Generations feel to them.

I never saw it the 3packs or anything.

The Tetra Seekers are closer to classics styling in robot mode. Off the bat, it has more articulation than the classics seekers. It features double jointed elbows and knees. Alicon was designed to be very G1, since there wasn't a G1 toy of it. I feel most G1 fans and classics fans will be happy with the Tetra Seeker design, as the jet mode is very close to the cartoon, and the robot mode looks like the classic seeker look, while being able to transform into the tetra jet. The robot mode is around the same height as the classics seekers, maybe a bit taller. Its been a few years since it was designed.

Taller is better, the classic Seeker is a bit too small for me.

Yes, the Classics Seekers are due for an overhaul and new release. They lack height and articulation.

Thanks for the info Venksta, you should put some effort into talking Impossible Toys into upsizing these figures and releasing them in yellow, green and blue. Maybe they'd look good with Quakewave.
