I figured that Cullen was only getting Optimus, but it'd be nice to have be Ironhide again too.

 

The Oklahoman has just went up a cool notch. Might have to pick that up today...

 

Peter Cullen seems like a class act. I'm glad that in a small way the fandom was able to repay him for all the enjoyment he gave us by helping him get the part in the new movie. That's awesome.

I'm really looking forward to the movie.

 

I wouldn't be too surprised at the "Cullen has to act" part. As Michael Bell (the voice of Prowl, Swoop, etc) has said in an interview, Bell couldn't get any role in the movie because Michael Bay (not to be confused with Michael Bell) just couldn't believe that the actors could act. Bell did all he could to be in the movie, but Bay turned him down. Bell looked quite unhappy.

Also note that Bay hasn't jumped onto getting Welker yet.

So I wouldn't take it as a remark on Cullen that Bay wants proof that Cullen could act, I'd take it more as an indication of Bay than anything else.

 

That picture in the article seems pretty familiar, I think one of the fanartists on the board did it? I have a copy on my computer but it's not signed apparently.

 

Cullen is a class act and is truly a humble man. I can't wait to hear him again in the upcoming movie.

 

Funny, I didn't think much of the article when I read it in the paper. I cut it out and framed it with the Cover from the DvD but I figured papers across the country would have similiar stories so I didn't even think to mention it. Cool deal.

 

I loved this part too! I wonder what the expressions on their faces looked like...
