I shall get back to you now sir!

It's very two-sided. Transbot never stops going on and on about how he knows this and that, waving it in people's faces. He just got a rebuttal is all.

Tell you what, I'm glad the lot of them aren't in here.

I see that BBTS has pre-orders up for Springer, Blitzwing and the legends figures for the 30th generations line. Quite surprised they are up already! I'll wait for Andy's pre-orders to go up though.

Looking at the combined mode of not menasor I can't say I'm impressed really. The only 3rd party combiner I am looking forward too is the Computron one if it happens.

On the bubble wrap from produce stuff I can tell that it's the same for Asda it get's recycled so feel free to ask the guys and gals that work there and they'll be able to grab some for you. Same with banana boxes as well.

At least in the store I work in!

hi MB, just to confirm tracks made it across the severn valley safely :)  thanks man.

Gotta say - i expected Menasor / MM might be a bit of a let down - just really missing that wow factor.

Going by the pics Not-MM looks way to small in alt mode, yeah I know in TF's scale is all over the place but if you're going to release a set like this then you should at least try to make them look right together and I'm not all that impressed tbh but I was never that interested anyway, also we need some MP size combiners.

Wow really - do we "need" mp scaled combiners? With rising costs in these things a combiner of that scale would be pushing things up to £700. Hercules was enough for some people and anything bigger would require way more hefty joints and connectors plus heavy duty plastic. It would bankrupt people if they were a true mp scale.

Even so....an MP Superion 2 - 2.5 times the height of MP10 would be freakin' epic :p

Yeah I can see both sides. To be fair I think Transbot was only trying to keep people interested and reassure them that FP's Menasor/Stunticons would be good because of the lack of news from FP. But by keep mentioning on almost a daily basis that he'd seen Menasor, it rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way and ended up doing more harm than good, so in a way I'm not surprised some people reacted the way they did when the pictures appeared. It all got a bit silly really, it's just a toy/collectable and there are far worse problems in the world than a couple of leaked pictures.

    I'll drink to that! :thumbs2:

In other news, why am I still up at 1:45am? Damn that Menasor thread! :D

    Totally agree with you mate,
Transbot has taken it very well, and like with everything it will be forgotten in a weeks time,
I planned on going to bed around 9 lastnight (feeling under the weather) but because of the menasor thread it turned into 1am

    So very tired..

Wow, this must be the first time I've been awake early enough to have to search for the UK thread, usually by the time I wake up it is right there on page one!

Dat FP Menasor thread. I have no interest in the figures (at least at those prices) but they look sweet and the thread is a beauty to behold. The front page article is hillarious :lol

    FP RAILRACER NOW

    Have fun :D

I'd love to pick up the FP Menasor because I simply LOVE the look of those designs, but what with the resurgence of the MP line, all of my "toy budget" is claimed for pretty much the next year.

Especially since I'm going to have to go back and get Starscream 2.0 and Sunstorm. I had no interest in the V2 Seeker design until I got my hands on Hasbro Thundercracker (Thanks Toymachine:thumbs2: ) and discovered that, in person, the new robot mode and head design kicks the stuffing out of the old one.

Damn you NewCracker, why couldn't you have sucked?

See I never understood how the RID trainbots got around, did they drive around like long cars?

Did they only stick to preexisting track (Autobots! Field trip to the awesome planet of robosexual love that we only just discovered! Except you guys, there's no track for you!') or do they lay track in front of them like rapido Gromit style?

    *clackclackclackclackclackclackclackclackclackclack*

Haven't checked out the FP Menasor thread, not sure what everyone going on about. Transbot? IIRC he's a long time poster and a good egg? If he's the right fella I'm thinking about?

Meeeeeh. Maybe I'll peruse next time I'm on the toilet. Gotta love modern technology.

Well Astrotrain seems to manage OK without tracks...

Unlike South Eastern trains which struggle even with tracks. Yep, train got cancelled again this morning :(

I always imagined the Rail Racer guys just had, you know, Autobot duty in Japan, which has quite an extensive rail network.

Still, no tracks? Just transform and walk.

Megatron and Soundwave couldn't really get very far as a gun and a tape deck.

Wait, I'm applying logic to this thing. Stop. Hammertime.

As far as I recall there were a lot of adventures that took place either on or near a railway track. There was that great episode when the Predacons tried to steal a steam locomotive.

    Oh RID, wtf. W. T. F.

Menasor looks neat. Would like to see some paint on Motormaster though. Also, Motormaster in general. And the arms are proper arms, which is nice. The shins not so much, but I can live with it. He may be able to function as a combiner without his components, but at least all you're worried about is him treading on you. Thread is gold.

Overall, I'm glad I got my pre-orders in, bring on the rest.

I also pre-ordered the MMC Sixshot, which would be my first MMC toy. It was that or Quakewave, so I looked at logically - QW is getting a rerelease, Sixshot is not, as far as we know. QW has a few details I don't like (mostly the particular shade of purple, lack of detailing, some other design choices), wheras Sixshot's hyper detail works for me. And, to top it off - I think Shockwave is still within a reasonable chance of an official figure at some point. Considering the reissue sixshot is more expensive than the MMC version, I'm going to assume that Sixshot will never get a MP toy (even if the figure is a touch more classics style, imo).

Also, I quite like Sixshot, and the reissue is more expensive. That blows my mind.

Plus beast modes. He'll stand amongst my growing collection of robotic monsters. Which reminds me, I got Ripclaw - easily one of the best mainline deluxes I've bought for some time.
