OK we know everyone's gonna get Zelda and Red Steel, but what else are you excited about for Wii?

Here are some of the games I wanna get:

    1. Excite Truck: Every time I hear of someone playing this game, they totally get into it. I think this game will be like SSX was for PS2: the sleeper launch title that gets everyone buzzing once they actually play it.

    2. Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam: Speaking of SSX, I loved SSX 1-3 for PS2, and THDJ looks like more of that great downhill big-air goodness. I don't know how it's gonna be, to use your remote to balance your skateboard, but I wanna check it out.

    3. Elebits: I don't know if this one is two-player, but you use the remote to shoot some kind of laser lightning into the screen? I'm not sure how good the game is, but it's definitely not a game I've seen before.

    4. Super Swing Golf: I love Hot Shots Golf for PS2 and PSP, and here we have another cute anime-style golf title. That remote seems perfect for golfing, I can't wait!

    5. Sonic and the Secret Rings: I got Sonic Rush for the DS and it has renewed my interest in the whole franchise. As an old-school Sega boy (my first system was an SMS), I really wanna get my hands on this one.

My hat is really off to Nintendo this fall. Unlike the DS, where we had to wait for the good games to come out, the Wii has a great lineup of excellent titles coming out for it, and it looks like they're gonna have plenty of Wiis in supply this holiday.

Nintendo is putting out too many games for my money and time. I generally dont like having more than one game on my plate at one time, so I might just stick with Zelda for awhile until I beat it. Then I want to get Excite Truck, Red Steel, and Elebits.

Excite Truck just looks plain fun. Red Steel I've been looking forward to since it was announced. And Elebits has been getting good word, and reminds me of Katamari. :D

I'm normally not a fan of shooters but Red Steel I'll probably pick up just because of the setting. I wanna run around and see all the Japanese neon signs and pachinko parlors ^_^

I know what you mean about having too many games. There are several games I wanna get for the DS, and also a couple for the PSP but I don't even have time to play the games I have!

Oh well, I guess too many games to pick from is way better than a lack of quality titles...

Ya me too. I'm not really a fan of football games or WWII sims but I wanna check it out if only to try the control scheme.

I really hope the Silent Hill franchise eventually comes to the Wii. I'd love to use the remote to shoot the zombies or even punch them in the face... or maybe wield a lead pipe or 2x4.

Since my funds are limited I will only get Zelda at launch but since we aren't getting many Transformers until the movie I may get more next year. Plus if I skip the movie figures I can get a lot more.

    eventually...Zelda of course.

other cames that catches my attention are: Super Swing Golf (reminds me off Hot Shots), Trauman Center (loved the DS one), Excite Truck (looks fun), and Tony Hawk (loved 1080 on the N64)

I don't plan on getting a Wii until after the holidays, but at that point...

Zelda, first and foremost, damn the reviews.
    Mario Galaxy
    Metroid Prime 3
    SSB

Excitetruck sounds like it's a blast, but it may be a "marked down" pick up for me.
I have a very strong interest in Trauma Center, just so long as it's not just a bigger version of the DS game (which, sadly, is what it looks like right now).

    Otherwise...

I need to see reviews. I need to gauge my wallet. And more importantly I need to get through those 4 games at the top, as I'll play each to death.

Oh, and if they put Majora's Mask on the VC, I'm so there. Never got the chance to grab the original, and I missed the GCN version too.

By the time I'm able to even pick up the Wii, there should be even more games out. But definately getting Zelda. Saw a commercial for Red Steel tonight, looks pretty cool, so maybe that one too.

When I have some more funds, I'll pick up Excite Truck. ANd probably half a dozen from the VC.

I have too much money and I'm quite indecisive, so I'm going all out next Sunday.

I KNOW I'm getting Zelda, along with Excite Truck. Red Steel looks great, so I'm quite sure I'll get that, as well as Trauma Center. Elebits kept tempting me, so I was pondering that, but since its delay, I might pick up Super Monkey Ball. That is 5 games though, and the Wii does come with one, so I don't really know. Combine that with the Classic controller, Wii Points Card, and (hopefully) component cables I'll be getting, that is a bit of money. And my time is extremely limited, what with the schooling and exams at the moment.

Ahh SSB, I remember I didn't get my Gamecube until I had enough money for the unit, SSB, and 4 controllers. Then I took it all home, called up some friends and had a blast.

I heard that the new version of SSB requires a GC controller. I hope that's not actually true. Only because my GC controllers aren't wireless, so it'd be more convenient to use the remote.

I heard that the VC supports GC controllers, so I'm debating whether I get a classic controller, a Wavebird, or just use my existing wired GC controller. The whole WiiConnect24 will be great.

I really home that, someday, they make a Pokémon MMO for Wii. I know Nintendo has been doing research into MMOs, and IMO Pokémon would be ideally suited for that. Imagine the whole world of Kanto and Johto and wherever else completely alive with real trainers that could challenge you on the spot! And an endless supply of trainers to trade Pokémon with...

Getting a Wii on launch day along with WiiSports, like someone said, that's a given.

    But I'm also picking up

    Zelda
    ExciteTruck
    Trauma Center
and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz

    Red Steel, and Zelda.

2,000 Wii points for some VC games.

Next year? Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wario Ware:Smooth Moves, and Super Mario Galaxy.

POSSIBLY Call of Duty 3. I'll rent it first.

Just a quick question for you guys getting a Wii, I have seen the ads with the different colored systems. Will they all be available at launch? I wouldn't mind getting a red or green one. I'm kind of tired of white consoles.

I was planning on waiting until after chrimbo to get one but the recent glowing hands on reports of Twilight Princess have already done the damage.
If that wasn't enough to convince me I should get a chance to try it for myself next weekend and that should surely see me dipping into my savings account for a little boost to my regular income.
Will just be getting Zelda though, that will keep me busy for some time, though I may also get Wii Play for the extra remote and Red Steel after that.

I'm interested in Nintendos own Project Hammer (silly fun!) and Mario Galaxy further down the line.
