I really like this Shockwave, (and the Commander version is bought) but am I the only irked by his gimpy right hand
Also prepare to see shelf warming Ultra Magnus'

 

Someone will buy 4 Magnuses, return them but keep the hammers, brag about it on the forum and defend himself saying he paid for the items so it's ok to keep the weapons after getting a refund.

 

For some reason, I'm not digging into Shockwave toy design, don't like the feet and tank mode looks only decent.

But that's okay, since I'm more interest in my boy UMagnus. Love that Box image presentation, can't wait to get him once it's out. I always love the concept of a Prime retool when it comes to UM since that was always his root dated back to G1. Call me crazy, but I think like this mold as UM better than OPrime himself, lol. Forge of Solus battle hammer looks spectacular. Not sure which mold I like best but currently RID UM is taking that top spotlight until I see BH UM in person. The missing smokestack is a bummer, hopefully they included it in final release.

 

Although I'm not too thrilled with his blaster arm,I guess I'll get that Shockwave and just leave that stupid armor off.

 

I really wish Hasbro would just give Shockwave some kind of speed boat mode so he could look like SOMETHING while keeping this bad ass robot mode.

 

Ill be all over that Shockwave.I think he will be a great fit with Classics stuff.

 

im surprised alot of you like this magnus... im sure it will grow on me.. but to me seems like the laziest retooling of just using prid optimus and a headswap..

I want that Shockwave now.

As for Magnus, I already have the true Ultra Magnus of the line in my display case.

I see shockwave being a huge seller. I still haven't seen a single Skyquake at retail, so I'm going to go ahead and just keep my Shockwave BBTS preorder and leave the retail hunt to the rest. Ultra Magnus is cool but I'll wait for reviews before I go in for that one. Any word on when we can expect the Grimwing wave after this one? I don't remember what the time difference was between Voyager wave releases for Prime in the past.

 

I thought Grimwing was in the same wave as Shocky and Magnus? Or did they just reveal them all at the exact same time?

 

That Shockwave is so bought. I love how Hasbro made Shockwave and Smokescreen backwards compatible because we did not get a Prime version of them and they are in Prime. Bravo Hasbro you have done very well this year.

Ultra Magnus? I really hope he is not in the show and if he is he gets a better toy than a remoulded Voyager Prime. I really don't want to buy this one.

 

ultra magnus does have a toy that's not a remold.

they just revealed them at the same time.
