Isnt Astrotrain in RID pretty much a larger Classics Astrotrain?

I don't think he ever was. I did take a look at his pre- and post-Black Room bodies when doing the list, and whilst they've got the same colour palette as the Classics toy, there aren't really any details that directly map from the toy.

Cliffjumper was definitely one of the autobots that blasted Megatron when he popped up 2 issues ago in RID- trying to remember if he appears in his WFC body?

Windcharger in the Shadowplay arc in MTMTE is pretty much the same as his 'classics' toy i believe.

is the FOC legends Rewind and Ramhorn applicable, not perfect, but close enough???

Where is Onslaught there? It looks like the non SDCC Blastoff to me. And Razorclaw in front. Sorry If I'm being too dense to see it..

Yeah, I think he posted the wrong panel. You can see Onslaught in RID #12, page 7, panel 1.

Not sure. In some depictions he is clearly the SDCC colors, here? Sorta SDCC too, but looks a bit too blue:

Looks like it's just based on his in-game colours, with a grey torso:

MP Starscream retroactively qualifies as being included for the Megatron spotlight, since it's set during AHM. The design used in the comic confirms this.

Huh? MP Starscream's already on the list, under All Hail Megatron. And Spotlight: Megatron is set during the ongoing, not AHM.

Thanks to the 'screw design consistency' editorial policy at IDW during the ongoing, Starscream appeared with both his MP body and his new Don Fig body in the same time frame...

Is his new body possibly a later voyager figure for Generations?

Ah, right. I keep thinking AHM and the old ongoing were one and the same for some reason (probably because I skipped most of the ongoing).

certainly possible, and as far as collectors go I'm sure we would all be super happy to get a blitzwing AND astrotrain voyager in the same year.

Is it.fair.to.say SKybite has a legitimate toy matching bid design in RID? From the enrrgon toyline iirc?

I would love it if they rebuild Omega Supreme to look like the Fall of Cybertron model, because then it would mean we can use the third party Genesis toy for the IDW comics.

I'd rather have the Year of the Snake Omega Supreme become IDW Omega.

nah, i kinda dont like that. The IDW look is good for me.

I remember seeing Powerglide in an issue of MTME and i know hes in the back of that RI team picture, is it just basically Universe Voyager Powerglide or whatever the red one was named since i think originally wasnt the gray variant of that mold originally powerglide?

You get a good look at Powerglide on page 5 of MTMTE #4, and he lacks the distinctive turbine-boobs of the Universe Ultra toy, so I doubt anything was done intentionally. Most of MTMTE's designs were done from scratch by Alex Milne - the only real example of a character being based on a toy in it (rather than a toy being based on the comic, as with Trailbreaker) is Black Shadow.

i think alot of the already released toys like him are passable for me to stand in as the crew tho, i wish there was a "show me your IDW teams" thread but at this point we're hogging thethreads with MTME stuff ha

also i wish for a RID or similar Prowl, the way the Classics one head rests on his shoulders has always bothered me.
