Thats cool. And now I realized that they were going for a more G1 toy accuracy, so my bad. I'm still going to do what I said earlier, but that could change.

The alt modes are kinda junky but I really dig the way the transformation happens in the chest. That flip just looks satisfying and effective. I like the options with the weapons both for storage and use, and they hit all the articulation needs.

I had no previous interest in these guys, but they're cheap enough just to pick up on a whim. I think I'll give them a shot.

Peaugh mentioned that Superion was in the Wreckers. Is that for real?

    Same here --^

And thanks for the great vid, Peaugh, as always! I'm still on the fence, as there are just so many great 3p products out or very soon coming up, but I may go for it.

They don't tab in, but the joints are stiff enough, and the pieces rest on a ledge so that they're pretty stable. I've had no problems.

No, not officially, but I'm building a team of "third party" wreckers on my shelf. It's currently steel core, defender, Assaulter, Fahrenheit (protector with the dr. Wu visor face), frostbite and furnace (Blesser and sidearm) as Fahrenheit's partners, apex, Geminus, and The Uranos guys. They're up against a con team (not sure if they're. 3P DJD or Mayhem Attack Squad) of Warcry, Flameblast, the FP deluxe insecticons, Hercules, the assault
Force version of PE's reflector, Fallout (the SG Optimus Battle Tanker), and once he finally arrives, the leader, Chaos paladin.

Totally fan made teams, just wanted a big guy on the bots to counter Herc.

There's only one organism creative enough to portray the charisma in these two outstanding figures, and there's a good chance that organism is Vangelus.

Some really great poses in here! I wish I'd thought of sibling-surfing.

If you rotate the wrist and bicep 180° the elbow looks a lot better. You don't get the full 180° bend but it's still a respectable 135°. I think it's in some official photos but not in the instructions IIRC.

Yeah, the way the arms looked made me hesitate for a long time, but in the end I bought a set, and I would echo what ubertenorman said - swivel them around so the wrist flap is on the other side except for those times when you need the double joint in the elbow.

The fun factor on these guys cannot be overstated - they're just awesome to transform and awesome to keep changing their poses, and yes, the gunmetal on the weapons is sublime.

Had the figures for nearly 3 weeks, still watching a review of them by Vangelus. That is the sign of a good reviewer.

still on the fence about spending the money ( f(x) stuff is more a priority) or even which to get, but they look fantastic.

Curious though, did they not come with the advertised extra head?

I go tthe extra head. Anyone know if there is another common Hasbro body that you can fit it on?

Vangelus doing a third party review?

Why, that is totally unheard of! :lol

(I swear if anyone takes this seriously.)
