Okay, in that it looks like Metroplex yes, it clearly looks like Metroplex. But it doesn't look like FOC Metroplex who has a much larger and fuller chest. FOC Metroplex also has a more rounded chest, not a pair of indented boxes.

Don't get me wrong, this Generations Metroplex sure looks good and I'll probably pick it up. It just has far more in common with his G1 incarnation than his FOC version.

I had this exact thought and therefore agree completely. He definitely has more of a G1 aesthetic than FOC.

I think Metroplex looks a lot like Cliffjumper. Same type of screws.

They both can lift Hercules with one claw but genesis seems to pick devastator in an EFFORTLESS manner. The YOTS arms seem awkward and his feet splayed a bit which says he is not up to the task.LOL. for that reason alone, l have the genesis in my shelf because it is the best omega supreme fig out there.

Best omega supreme figure out there..period. Unfortunately, the price reflects this. I wanna see a head to head between this monster and the lesser YOTS omega.

I have both and genesis to YOTS is like Lamborghini to a Vios. People harping on about price - like all good things in life, the best is much more expensive

Very comprehensive review and good comparisons. Though, the height difference between Genesis and Herc/YOTS OS is not what I've seen elsewhere and myself. I could see that the legs of Genesis were seperated quite a bit so it didn't quite show the height difference correctly.

I was surprised that you'd still pick G1 OS over Genesis, but I can understand it since you've had it for so long. For me Genesis is in a league of its own. The only thing that is remotely close is MP-04 in terms of engineering, but otherwise nothing comes close. I would be absolutely contempt as this being my OS regardless. Even if a G1 OS MP was made I'd have this along with Genesis to sort of have a Generational reflection of itself. That would be almost unbeatable...well, the only thing that could top it would be Fort Max MP, but we know that that is just about impossible without selling an organ for it :p

Yep good review. I think for people who grew up with G1, it's going to be hard for any Omega Supreme figure to beat the original version. You are a kid, with imagination flying high. Combine that with a figure that allows for a great playability i.e. the tank, the tracks, etc and you are pretty much in heaven.

You can judge a figure based on its engineering, etc, etc but at the end of the day the only thing that matters is whether you are having fun with it.

That G1 Omega in my video was used for so many things when I was a kid. I would use his parts as walls in my Autobot base, his legs can make good turrets if you put Predakings feet on top!

Genesis is so high quality and the design is sooo good but sometimes sentiment has a strong influence.

I hope as many people as possible buy Genesis because I want a WFC Trypticon.

I watched all 45+ mins of this yesterday without really caring about the toy beforehand. I have to say dude, you did an excellent review and it really interested me in the figure.

Like you said, if I had the extra disposable income, genesis would be a no brainer for me. Unfortunately that's not the case so I'm still going with the less expensive yots omega, but damn, genesis is very freakin impressive. Good work.

The Omega tank can be stored inside the body in spaceship mode, it's even shown in the instructions.

Glad to see you picked one up, as this is definitely a "bookend" to any collection. I definitely felt that I could end my collection happily after Genesis. I won't. But I could.

    It's that impressive.
