I've spent years conditioning my 7 year old to be a Transformers fan. As such, I've fashioned his room accordingly. Nothing outrageous, but just a few simple touches: Panorama makes the room look deceptively narrow Robot Heroes Prime Lenticular insert from the 20th Anniversary DVD Old-school Japanese G1 Just put this poster up yesterday Self explanatory Softimus This book is AWESOME
Cool stuff man.! My gf got the stuffed animal optimus and the vault book! Ive never seen the "Protect" poster before. Very nice!
NICE!! Classy. Been doing the same for my nephew...he's more partial to the Wall Stickers tho.. and he has a couple of shelves for his G1 TFs. Also had the bedspread/curtains, etc...but he outgrew that set...and hard to find full size sheets, spreads etc....especially G1, especially now, no movie.
From the clenliness of his room I would compliment you on a job well done as a parent. However I might suggest he broaden his horizons with respect to his interests in fandom lest he grow up merely to spam these boards
Thanks for the comments. Arkvander: I got the poster off of Amazon. I also bought a Megatron "Revolt" poster in the same style, however, I decided not to put it up. MTME: I got the shadowbox from my sister-in-law (not sure where she got it from). I simply glued a RH Prime inside. ISleepNow: The room decor is 100% my doing and does not reflect a lack of interests outside of Transformers on my son's part--he's a pretty well-rounded kid. I just wanted his room to have a cohesive theme (I could've done sports or cars or anything else...he would've been fine with whatever I did).
I love the Unicron in the top corner. It creates just the right perspective for the figure. I would totally pick one up and copy that if my figures were on an open shelf.
