No. Although getting both. That Cyberverse Shockwave may become one of my favorite Commanders and that isn't easy.

So some tiny spikes/wings on the back are a deal breaker but losing the iconic hose is ok?

Finally looking at these. Optimus Prime looks like he turns into a garbage truck now. Yay for new alt mode, I guess.

 

Oh sweet, I actually prefer that. I'm not a big fan of Prime Shockwave's design because his black chest makes it look so dull.

Although not accurate, an orange chest with visible tubes is actually an improvement for me. Will keep an eye out for some robot pics! Thanks!

Sorry, didn't mean to pick on you. My comment is coming from the FT Quake Wave thread where people freaked because the hose was overslung vs undersling. So after reading all of that, to read someone post that a hose missing means nothing at all just made me laugh.

I am floored by some of the nitpicks people come up with. Not you, I was quoting you because you reminded me of how other people can get rediculous with the nitpicks.

But I am from the school that thanks Hasbro for everything they release and if I do not like it I do not buy it vs having the attitude of "It's about fucking time but you did it all wrong". aka I don't have that feeling of self entitlement.

 

Why does BH Dreadwing remind me of Cyber Peacock from Mega Man X4?

Back on topic, I'm REALLY glad I sprung for the Voyager Dreadwing, after seeing this mold.

 

Really like that ultra magnus but he should of got a first edition mold I think ether way im getting him

 

I wonder if Ratchet might look better with repaint.. if his main colour was lime-gold or perhaps red - then that design might work better it stands out to much against the white I feel though.

I hope they leave Knockout unaltered (and don't kill him) as he might be defending his vanity by not taking any armour on.

I really like Dreadwing even if he does look a bit like an Insecticon. Its a concern that they say they are going to do 6 Voyagers and we've already seen :

Ultra Magnus
Optimus Prime
Predaking
Shockwave
That green Gryphon

So that leave 1 slot who for :

Insecticon, Megatron, a redeco Ultra Magnus as Optimus.. so no room for a Voyager Bulkhead remould, and Megatron and Insecticon.

and that is a worry I just hope Hasbro counted wrong (didn't include Optimus and Predaking) or something in addition can come out in 2014.

I'd be some miffed if they didn't do a Voyager Insecticon "at all" though I can perhaps make do if Takara and Hasbro Asia do one instead.

Oh and in the spirit of daft armoured redecos - how about a daft over armoured redeco of Breakdown sometime ? or even (giggle) Unicron when Takara come to do the line.

I think one idea might be to release the 1st Edition Optimus and 1st Edition Bulkhead with clip on armour pieces.

 

Shockwave and Ultramagnus, must buys for me.  

 

Ratchet now looks a bit like the killer clown's Ice Cream van in that old Ps2 Game. or Mudflap and Skids' old vehicle mode.

On one hand, I do want a better megatron (I wish for an earthmode, but it wouldn't make too much sense in the new setting)... on the other hand a voyager Insecticon would be just fantastic.

 

Well so far Voyager Shocky is the only thing that interests me. I love beast modes but these dragons really aren't doing it for me.
