I wish TF Prime season 3 would get here already. These are all so cool but for space (and money) reasons I only get toys of cast members. Now because of the huge cast shake-up coming in Season 3, I don't know which of the beasts are going to be in the cast and I don't even know which of these Mad Max versions of existing characters are going to appear in the show... What's a collector to do?

Whole lot of "WTF" going on in this line. I'm really going to need to see in hand pics of that Voyager Shockwave before I can settle on how I feel about him. His Cy-verse fig looks pretty keen though.
Soo, comparing the pics of the Dragon Disk OP to Peaugh's pics of the Voyager, it's the same toy right? They just changed out all the accessories - diff sword & shield, dragon backpack instead of wing backpack, right? It's not actually looking any bigger or different to me.
Skystalker & Grimwing are two more BH additions for me. These Predacons will make for a fine Classicsverse anti-Dinobot team. Grimwing looks like an oddball though. Not as dragon-y as the others, and his bio from that catalogue painted him as a bit of a noble, honour-bound guy....sounds a bit like Dinobot...who also started out as a Predacon (albeit, of a different kind)... Ratchet looks like Dinobot 2 with the skeletal theme, colour and cyborg eye - possible homage perhaps?
Beastfire predaking is beautiful! I'm surprised that I like most of the dragons. Magnus is a fail to me. RID version works better than this repaint.
Ok, I'm keeping my Shockwave pre-order. Ultra Magnus doesn't look bad, but I still scratch my head as to why remold when the other is superior. On the fence about big Optimus. Looks like he has snow shoes for feet. Very Animated on steroids and crack buttbabied with Mad Max. But the vehicle just screams running over shite to me when I see it. Hope that dragon thingy detaches. Looked at Ratchet more, and he looks seriously unfinished to me.
Shockwave, Smokescreen, Optimus, and probably Predaking. Those are the only ones which currently spark any interest from me.
The huge Predaking looks so cool. That dragon mode is AWESOME. Oh, and Shockwave looks really nice as well. So much stuff to buy, this will be a busy year!
Magnus is a bitter disappointment. I can't figure out who the hell that guy in between Magnus and Shockwave is. Shockwave looks even more amazing, his tank mode looks less like some deformed monster, but why is his chest orange? His default chest? Those supreme guys look like a pass, except MAYBE Predaking. Ratchet looks like he accidentally mushed his face, and then went to the wrong guy for repairs. Dreadwing looks too-much-of-one-color for my taste. He looks waaay unpainted. The rest of him doesn't seem so great either.
Magnus out of the PRID Prime looks light years better than the previous Magnus. On that note: I hope they don't make another Magnus figure for another 20 years. So sick of that dude.

Wow... the whole Beast Hunters line is a fail for me... sad, too, since I thought most of TF-Prime toys were excellent. I recently saw the Voyager BH Prime at Target, and it looked HORRIBLE. Nothing about it excited me. Shockwave looks bizarre to me. I'll stick with Quake Wave. The rest of the line looks either too silly (BH Starscream) or too mediocre (BH Soundwave, Bulkhead, etc). Was hoping with all the Beast silliness, there would at least be a BH Dinobot or BH Grimlock, but nope. Sorta glad, too, since I decided not to collect the RID Prime toys, and was starting to have doubts on that decision... but with BH looking stupid, I feel reassured in my decision to stick with Masterpiece toys only.
