Metroplex is the big news for me! O_O Soundwave with all 5 cassettes, if he comes with all 5 I'll be pissed. I'm keeping my preorders for the cassetttes, but yeah I guess I can hold onto the packages for now and see if there's much of a difference between the Takara and Hasbro versions.
1) Hasbro didn't even mention foc, this was all about the IDW line. 2) foc voyagers are out in a couple of months, this IDW stuff is due at the end of the year 3) foc case has springer and astrotrain. Idw case has springer and blitzwing. 4) both feeds mentioned how g1 blitzwing was, nothing about cybertronian modes or styling. 5) one of those springer listings might actually be a sandstorm instead Apologies for the curt manner of the above but I'm trying to type fast and keep up with the news on a tablet.
Soundwave's gonna be the same price as MP-10 was last year, and just as hard to find. I'll still buy him if I see him though.
My only concern with the Generations line covering 1984, is that we've already gotten most of that year's line in CHUG form. I'd really hate for them to just redo a character (or face the challenge of picking one version of the figure) rather than finish up other characters/years. Maybe we'll finally get a US release of Rumble/Ravage though.
That is exactly what I am asking myself right now with the Masters line and this line as well along with MP figures too.
Cool. Good to know. I wasn't sure if we would have to wait till tomorrow for pictures, or if they would be able to post any from the panel's slideshow. They've gone over Star Trek Kre-O, and while I'm excited for that, I'm still hoping they announce some non-Kre-O stuff.
I only just got my takara soundwave today but I am totally stoked for a Hasbro giftset. Does this mean there won't be a ratbat made at all though?
I was planning on picking up Hasbro SW just to have one in alt mode but since he's coming with a; 5 cassettes, consider the Takara PO's cancelled
Do we know the US price for that Soundwave, and release date? I'm really glad I held out for the American release!

Yeah, that bugs me too. I guess, I'd rather Blitzwing be a little bigger than smaller(hello Hasbro's new shitty deluxe scale). There is that FOC Astrotrain that is suppose to come out as well, though curiously not mentioned during today's panel. Maybe, it's time to retire Classics Astrotrain and Octane sucks anyways.
