I wanted an upscaled Fall Of Cybrtron Shockwave like they did with Soundwave. No interest in this.

I'll hit it. I can only imagine Shockwave's humiliation at having to wear beast armor, though.  

Also, it's good to see Prowl is going to escalate from flipping tables to smashing them with his JUSTICE HAMMER.

 

Hopefully the snap on armor is all the orange bits. The snap on armor might not be so bad if the colors weren't so horrible but hey that should be something that spray paint could solve.

Fingers crossed it's not much longer until we get a picture of him without the armor.

 

I wonder how many of those Predacons will have larger toys vs legends? The Abominus members are obviously legends, and Scourge is a repaint of Lazerback, but what about Skystalker and Grim Wing (who has a companion Blackbeak!)? Grim Wing will probably get a deluxe or why bother giving him a friend?

The catalog unfortunately doesn't have anything on the "Ultimate" figures....

 

Orange is ugly but it looks like it can come off.

 

I'd say Grimwing and Skystalker are the most likely candidates for larger figures, given they both appear to have weapon gimmicks. Grimwing's "Pet" and Skystalker's wings shoot discs.

 

I'm going to wait to see clearer images before commenting, because right now, I can't tell what Shockwave turns into, but I like what I can see.

 

He looks like Shockwave with a crab or lobster installed in him. Hope that red stuff is removable.

 

It's a good thing that red shit is removable. The base figure looks pretty decent.

 

That snap on armor looks so stupid, especially on his shoulders.

I am SOOOOOO glad I'm not into this line or the previous! Just horrible in every way possible and think the heavens for 3rd parties to keep me interested in my hobby.

 

The bot mode doesn't look too bad, given that the orange garbage is removable, but I really don't like the alt mode.

 

Ughhh, well there goes all hope.

This seems to be a common theme among people's opinions. They want Transformers Prime toys to be something they're not: Classics.
