I thought season 3 was only 13 episodes not 16??

 

There may be a final edit for time, plus music and sound effects need to be added, as well as synchronization to make sure the lip movements are accurate, might take some extra time...

...that or it could be moved up to the summer.

Yeah, I was hoping for a late spring/early summer at the very latest. Remember they record b4 the animation is started/completed...and wasn't there an announcement about a new animation studio to help?..maybe that was just for Rescue Bots tho.

 

Yeah that's true, though I didn't think there'd be such a big time difference between the two

 

I remember reports that the studios had tons of employees working on this series, but I'm sure they have other series to produce as well....plus with the new designs, lots of extra time would have to be allowed for each 'changed' character.....almost like starting over...almost.

But wouldn't that cost a lot of money? I know with another studio helping it can help with the budget a lot but wouldn't it take too much money just to change each character?

 

We are talking about Beast Hunters Prime, right??? So yeah, they're new designs, CGI wise...also why we're getting new toys.

well remember that when Beast Hunters was confirmed, the Poster had a Fall 2013 release date on it.

Nope, Prime wont have 13 eps, its Season 3 of my little pony that have 13 episodes, Prime season 3 have 16

 

Wouldn't it be smarter for Hub to air TF/Rescue Bots during "Sweeps" for a ratings boost? I just can't remember when that is, mid-Feb? Don't see reason for a fall air date... especially if they're worried about sales... Selling toys without some sort of 'lure' such as episodes or ads... Then again, I'm not an executive... probably a good thing.

 

We don't know if those toy upgrades will be in the show though, they very well could be toy-only.

Season 3 TFP Beast Hunters should have some NEW Beast Hunters characters...so yeah, new CGI ...as I stated previously...the character with BH changes would have to be done....doesn't mean every bot.

 

You're talking about Polygon Pictures working together with Silver Ant??

 

You're confusing me by what you mean, the toy-upgrades to the pre-existing characters or the new Predacons? If the latter, yeah, there would need to be new CGI character models for them. If the former, we have no way to know if those toy upgrades will be in the show.

 

First, I was not talking about toys at all...only the series and characters...so yeah, if the NEW BH characters are in the series...and since it's called Beast Hunters..one would think they would be in there...so new characters = new CGI = addtional time.

Maybe it could take extra time as well IF the existing characters get some BH upgrades too...perhaps LATER in the season. Who knows?

That's all I'm going to say about that.

If you're only referring to New Characters, this season shouldn't take any additional time for its new character models than season 2 did.

NO THEY DON"T and that was stated early on, as was pointed out more than once...and frankly, you didn't contribute a thing to the conversation either...but a snarky comment, not enough of those around here.
This thread was NOT about the toys at all and obviously it only clouds the issue to bring them into the discussion, now let's let this one die a natural death until some REAL NEWS comes out....hopefully sooner than later.
