I can live with the lack of hands/feet.

The bigger problem I have is the proportions

It always bugs me when Hasbro come so close to getting something right, but they have to hamstring it by not going that extra bit further.

It's not all that bad, considering the compromise, but I really think it would've made it a lot better. I'm sure they have their reasons(they always do), but it's hard to see the logic.

 

They should use 2 figures for the torso

 

That's Monstructor, not Abominus.

Though the thought of those six being Predacons as well piques my interest.

 

Nice, now hasbro do them as 4 dlx and 1 voyager and show you can do as well as 3rd partys.

Well, that's one way to get me to collect Cyberverse figures!   I would have considered at least picking up Twinstrike/Sinnertwin when news of that figure surfaced. I'd almost hope this hits Target in Australia -and a local one at that, haha - but with our prices, I might be able to import it cheaper.

It's not anywhere near third party quality, but you can't even appreciate the engineering that went into this? Especially for Legends class-sized figures?

 

Besides, these are legion figures that form a deluxe sized combiner and will cost like, what, 15 or 20 bucks? It's so stupid to compare them to $300+ third party combiners.

Taking a very close look a Hun-Gurr it appears as though the other bots are going to connect to him via plastic pegs. The best way to tell is look at Windrazor's feet in beast mode. You can see smal pegs coming off the feet. It's also possible to see peg holes on Hun-Gurr's robot arms and dragon heads. This worries me because Hasbro quality control has been a little bit lacking of late. I hope to Primus that there aren't any issues with pegs not fitting correctly. This combined with the possible ball joint issues I mention earlier have me very worried.

Those worries aside, I LOVE the individual bots and I can't wait to get a hold of them. Especially Blot...er...Blight.  

 

The toy bio should be something like "Bumblebee tries to use baby predacons as target practice but it all goes wrong when PREDACON TWERP COMMANDER HUN-GURR commands his playground friends to combine into ABOMINUS!"

I wonder what the differences will be between the decos for the individual releases and the 5 pack.

Sinnertwin/Twinstrie's decos on both versions look pretty much the same from what can see.

Finally they are using the name Blight again. A cool name they first used in Energon for the tank that's coloured like Swindle, and then the green minicon motorcycle in the universe line. It's a great fit for blot.
