Id like the combined mode to have articulated fingers and thumbs.

 

If you go with this Predaking, wouldn't it be too large for the others? Didn't they say that Herc would be looking up to him? I always felt that Predaking should be bigger, but if Herc is looking up, the Giant may be too small?

 

As I said in my earlier post, I believe the "not even close" comment was aimed at the character guesses, not necessarliy the usage (targetmaster, headmaster, shield, weapon, etc).

The only comment aimed at shooting down those guesses so far was that it will be a full figure, not a weapon/accessory add-on. So I think that the swappable limb theory is still live until it is officially shot down.


And I completely agree that articulated fingers/thumbs for combined mode would be very much appreciated.

My guess was going to be BW Megatron, but someone already made that joke... so Primal!

 

What about Carnivarc (spelling) as the sixth member?

 

For what it's worth, in theory, Not!Razorclaw should cost about the same as the leg bots. Bull and Rhino come with the large feet and fist parts for the combination, as well as their own larger size compared to Eagle and Tiger. Lion should have almost no accessories but be larger, equalling out to the legs.

Same theory of undersized mainstream deluxe figures with huge weapons costing the same as larger ones with small weapons: engineering and plastic costs about balance out.

I could be wrong though... maybe Not!Razorclaw comes with 'real roaring action' and is made entirely of diecast. If so, he might cost more than his comrades combined.  

 

The bulk reminds me of the Ginga man's 6th' ranger megazoid + Shinkenger Bull.

 

They already said that Feral Rex will be 12.5 inches tall to the top of his head (see first post). With Giant at 11 inches, the size difference is suitable, for me at least.

 

That's what I read throughout the thread too. The size decrease is really disappointing.

So people have just seen this and are complaining about size?

He will stand 12.64" and that does not include the preceived height that the gins will give him. He will also feel much bigger because of his bulk and wingspan. I like my combiners all the same size but Predaking is allowed to be bigger and I think his size difference would fit in perfectly with the FP/MT combiner size class.

I needed this thing yesterday.

Wow people complaining about size? Really? I'm sorry to say but there seems to be some spoiled transfans on here. Be fortunate and glad that MMC is making Predaking, be fortunate and glad it also looks amazing. But back to topic, I would absolutely love if the six member was BW Megatron, I don't care what form he took as long as they got the face right it would be amazing.

He said all the guesses on WHO it is aren't even close. The only details that were given so far on the WHAT it will be are that it isn't a weapon or accessory.

Like I said, I still consider the "6th member as an arm" theory to be alive... at least until it is specifically shot down. Which it more than likely will be.
