Just checked mine. Not there. I ordered the WSF Polished. So, it looks like they lost it or didn't include it when they shipped mine. No biggie, since I have the Rage set on, the purple nubbin is now free to be used as the crane lock.  

 

Nope, the crane lock isn't in mine either... It's cool though, I'll just use the one from the first kit you released, although it isn't polished, it shouldn't make much of a difference, considering the location of it.

Echo, what is your plans for next adding kits or finish with it?

 

Echo, got my SS hip pieces and 8 D-rings in tonight! Just a quick visual, they look fine, not oval like daimchocs' was. I'm going to pick up some R/C grease after work tomorrow, but doubt I'll be able to tear back into HL, until the weekend...

Also, I got an email back from Shapeways this morning, asking for a picture of the parts. I sent them a couple. Unknown what they're gonna do to fix it...? If I have to, I'll order the wing extensions by themselves.

 

Got another email from SW this morning. Michon has filed a complaint for me and hopefully, I'll be getting the correct pieces soon? I also sent her a pic of the crane lock that I'm missing as well, so maybe that will be solved as well?

I've spent the better part of the past two days painting my echo Herc parts, and I'm still not done!

 

I spent all day Sunday painting mine and I'm nowhere near done either. I was gonna work on them last night, but ended up playing WoW instead, lol!

 

Wow, he looks so tall in those pictures! Awesome!!!

In terms of what's next: I don't know if you've seen the cab covers - they are 'beta', otherwise I think I've covered most requests. Plus sales are SLOW so I'm a little reluctant to spend a lot more time and personal funds at this point unless there was really good demand.

BUT I am starting an entirely new project that I'm really excited about...I just want to get it further along before I share...

 

Give the guys who bought the first parts time to post some pics...that might influence more orders  

 

yea, I saw cab covers and it's sound like you finish upgrade kits with Hercules. If TFC Superion have little trouble then you will make another kits on superion again? I can see that people want new guns for Aerialbots each and have gun combines  

 

Do G1 style heads for each of the individual bots- thats bound to be a bit of a decent seller. I cant believe no 3rd party has tackled that

Painting is pretty much done (waiting on chest shield extensions to dry)...

I wanted to wait until all parts were painted before assembling them together as Hercules, and I must say, in hand/person, they really do make a nice figure a masterpiece...the modifications done to HL to turn him into a respectable torso are out of this world...and although the NB head cover is barely visible, it's got to be the most awesomely engineered part in the kit, maybe on all of Hercules!...it fits and attaches like a perfect puzzle piece...

I'd post pics, but I'm waiting for Hercs head to come back from being cast...hopefully that will be in the next day or so...

Yes, Uranos parts are in the current plan, but I'll wait for it to be complete and in hand before I start to design, do that's a ways out yet. My next release (different figure) will (hopefully) be complete by then.  

Appreciated the suggestion, but I need more experience first (perhaps a smaller project) as Ive never tackled a headsculpt, the 'mechanical innovation' and 'sculpt - proportion fixing' is kinda my thing ATM.

Are the cab covers in the full monty set ?

 

I've looked an other than a project that just stopped I couldn't find anything perhaps you could either link those threads here or PM me them?

 

Not yet, they're still being evaluated (in beta) but once the design is confirmed I'll add them to the kit.

That said they are really inexpensive and could be easily added to a full Monty order.

 

So inexpensive that the shipping costs more than the three covers...I put them in my cart but plan to wait until I order something else to offset the shipping cost...

 

I'll see what I can find.
