This cool if you ask me. The man's talented enough to do both Prime and Megatron. It'd be interesting if that does happen. Either way, I'm excited, as long as this thing ends up with good writing it'll all work out fine.

 

Megatron - "Oh noes Prime you shot me, agh!"

wow i want to hear his prime though! if he can do megatron, i can only imagine an excellent prime too.

 

I will take it as some time positive but I'm curious...what's this about a new cartoon? Does anyone know more about this?

I'll give it a chance, considering the fact his voice work is good on various shows.

Meg's playing Prime, now that's just plain silly   Would be funny as hell if Chalk ended up playing Megs thought  

 

Myself, I am just hoping that this means we're going to see a trend of Beast Wars people's names showing up on this thing. The more of them there are, the more comfortable I will be. I am still scared to death for this new show, especially what with the cartoon network association. I want it to be BW again so bad it hurts, so I don't care who he voices, just seeing his name on it is a mild, temporary comfort.

But yeah, it is interesting. I really can't imagine it, but I'm certainly quite open to the idea.

 

Not sure if this has been stated yet but he said in the interview on the Beast Machines disc that he originally auditioned for Optimus Primal. But wound up being Megatron. So its not really that wacky of an idea.

I gots no problem with this as long as he doesn't use the Megatron voice.  

Based on this and other info about this "Heroes" 'toon, I get a strong impression they're taking things in a different direction, at least more than usual (how different a direction that is from the movie is another matter). One reason I think Beast Wars is rather well-regarded (not the only reason, for sure) is that they took a lot of things in new directions from G1, and it appears "Heroes" might do similar. No one can say what the final result will be, but it seems to be laying some of the groundwork to keep it from just being another rehashing of the G1-originated characters and framework with a new toy gimmick shoehorned in.

... at least in theory.

 

He should bew good. He did do a pretty good voice for Professer X on X-men evolution.

i'd find it comical that them kitbashers repaint the new show's Optimus Prime into a megatron color scheme.

 

Ok, what would be cooler: Kaye as the voice of both Prime and Megs; or Kaye as Prime and Chalk as Megs?

 

That's kinda cool. It would be good if Chalk did Megatron since he's done him before.

 

Now that is Ultimate. I honestly had no interest in seeing this show before now but i think i'll check it out.
