Retrospectively I wish I'd got Shadow Blade Megs. I passed as I had him in show colours, but those colours look amazing on him.

Thinking about Animated Overlord, it's a real shame we never got that Marauder Megatron toy. I just looked at the photos again - with a new head he would have been the perfect Overlord!
This has nothing to do with your custom though, it's awesome! Love it!

I decided to quit collecting last summer. Other priorities and stuff  
Then I looked at my Animated shelf. A nice collection, only missing a few more hard too come by figures (especially here in the Netherlands).
And then I realized, I couldn't just stop, I HAD to complete my Animated wanted list before I said goodbye.
Now all I need is voyager Blackout and Samurai Prowl......anyone selling by chance?

This is funny to see this mentioned, cuz a few years back myself and iq40 over at Deviantart were working on a TFA: Spotlight Warpath fan-comic that featured "Project: Overlord" as a failed Decepticon experiment, the predecessor to The Triple-Changer process that Blitzwing underwent. Here's a Marauder Megatron study he did, no alternate head was drawn for him as Overlord unfortunately.



It was supposed to be a flashback comic that basically would have shown that "Overlord", while extremely powerful, was batshit INSANE (think "Stormbringer" Thunderwing) because his processor couldn't compute the immense amount of information needed to process 3 different modes- Blitzwing would have been the result of avoiding this problem, instead dividing the work amongst 3 different processors, hence his 3 personalities.

We scrapped it though, right around the time we started I had my first kid and life got busy.

Heck, since I mentioned it now, if anyone's interested in reading the final draft of the story (NOT the script) let me know and I can dig it up, post it here or PM it.

I Got stuck on how I was gonna do the head, so it's been sitting on my shelf incomplete for over a year now. Maybe one day I'll finish it... at least complete the paintjob.

And here folks, for everyone's enjoyment: TFA Clench! I doodled the head one day out of boredom/ curiosity, deciding it should be designed to fit Animated Magnus' body.

However as earlier mentioned my time for projects is limited, so I asked the ever-gracious Digilaut if he'd do me a solid and do it up nice and pretty for me- to which he so kindly obliged!

I will one day save up the immense amounts of cash it will take for someone to fully customize an Animated Leader Clench for me :]
