Since we'vee talked about what we want to see happen in Season 3 of TFP what are things that you don't want to see happening in Beast Hunters?

Here's my list.

Having the Autobot cast be upgraded into the spiky forms like in the toyline: I know that seems unlikely but still I just don't want to see the Autobots be upgraded into spiky forms because I don't see the point to it. They're on the run and having spiky forms would ruin that not to mention looking like an attempt to have kids buy the upgraded remolds of the toys. However I'm fine with Optimus being upgraded because it does make sense due how he was severly damaged in the season 2 finale and that he needs to get rebuilt to combat Predaking. I'm fine with the Autobots having upgraded forms in the toyline but not on the show.

Arcee dying.

Airachind beng dead from the blast: There's a type of build up for her release somehow and to have her killed off like that would make it pointless.

Shockwave having a minor role: I'm not expecting too much of the character in the season and I also know he may not turn backstabber on Megatron. Just as long as he has a strong enough role and be a bigger threat like he was in Animated I'll be happy. That's all I'm asking.

Predaking being a dumb brute.

Not having moments of the Autobots and kids on their own for a while.

 

The Dinobots as The Predacons-A BIG No-No in my book.

 

All the Decepticons and Predacons die in order for Season 3 to be the finale.

 

I don't want to see the Decepticons' losing.

 

A status quo develop. Also, although I doubt this will happen, I don't want to see Earth restored to its normal self in 3 episodes.

I don't want to see any animation errors.

Oh wait, it's Prime.

 

I want Wheeljack with the autobots all the time.
Starscream to stay loyal and be a bada$$. For someone who makes sooo many mistakes, he stays high ranked.
Like kaijuguy19 mentioned I want a good reason for the upgrades. I want them to have a purpose.
I want Optimus to have some form of personality
I want more interaction between Optimus and Megatron WITHOUT A BATTLE. They were comrades at one point that would be interesting for them to hold a conversation about the old days.
Less Hi and die appearances. Why bother to render a bot and he only show up once or twice?

I DON'T want...

-Wheeljack to continue to be a "show up once every ten episodes"-character this time. He doesn't have to be there for every episode, but gosh, there's only 16 in this season. I'd like to see him, you know, at least like, four or five times.
-All of the five main Autobots to survive.
-Things to end well for Starscream.

I'm sure I'll think of more, but that's all I have at the moment.

It wouldn't be "Transformers" if it didn't have animation and technical errors.

-The return of the "pew pew" guns, give us some awesome sounding weapons, with variants in sound.

Optimus. As cool as the new toy looks, I don't that boring chunk of CGI metal on screen, and talking.

-Vehicons, if they aren't going to be a threat, don't bother with them.

 

"Hi, I'm Transformers Prime. Have we met?"

 

I don't want Optimus to come back immediately. Have it take a few episodes before he's revived. Sorta how Rhinox brought Primal back. In fact do it like that, have the season opener be about it, but not overt like the goal is bring Optimus back from the getgo. Make it mysterious and rewarding.

I don't want anymore pseudo-epic imagery and staging with no payoff just to appease people who make fan music videos. Have character actions and the personalities clashing being the epic moments and not just something big rising from the ground while canned blockbuster music plays. I mean seriously, I would trade every Vector Sigma/Unicron/Omega Lock/New Kaon for just one interesting conversation that sounded natural.

I don't want to see Airachnid.

I don't want to see anymore more pointless, gratuitous death. Give us, just once, a truely heartfelt and awesome last stand instead of just dropping dead. Give us more Dinobot in Code of Hero/Optimus in ROTF instead of Terrorsaur and Scorponok/most Movie Decepticons. And if you absolutely, positively must kill characters, please even it out. Prime is worse towards the Decepticons than the movies for God's sake.

I don't want to see anymore sports cars or jets. Prime is almost just jets, trucks, and cars at this point. It wouldn't kill the writers to give us a construction vehicle, or a weird, nutty machine of made up origin.

And I especially don't want to see fights that consist of two sides just shooting and running. God I wish there were no guns in this show. They ruin every fight.

Just because we saw some of that in the show so far dosen't mean it's going to be the same next season. We don't know if it'll be the same next season just wait and see first.

 

I don't want to see those toy upgrades, at least not permanent. I'd love if they were temporary armor upgrades. But if they're permanent, GTFO.

I agree with this, if these upgrades are for like the final battle with Predaking and his minions then fine, but not for the entire run of episodes.

 

You're right, we don't know. But evidence suggests we not get our hopes up.

I'd be for the upgrades if they weren't just remoulds/additions to their existing bodies. I miss all-new form perma-upgrades like the Cybertron Defense Team and Transmetals. I like having physical manifestations of the characters' growth.

But the Prime cast hasn't really done much growing, so...

 

Like I said it can go either way so let's wait to see if one or the other happens first before calling it out.

Having upgrades to a character aren't always a good thing just saying. It can take away what made the character look and act good in the first place.

As for character growth that's your opinion.

 

But they can also make a character look ten times better. We won't know until SOMEBODY friggin' tries it again.

Transmetal Megatron was way better than regular Megatron.
