Anticipation Is anyone else frustrated or disappointed with the lack of information in regards to season 3? I know they've got to keep things locked up but little bits of info here and there would be nice. I think High Moon did a great job of promoting their game and giving info on a regular to build up the anticipation for the release of the game. What do you guys think?
In response to the OP, not particularly. For me, TFP is just there - I watch it because it's Transformers, and if I miss an episode or two, I'm not going to go out of my way to hunt it down.
Season 2 JUST ended! We got more of a teaser for Season 3 than we did for Season 2 Season two gave us Knock Out putting a Decepticon insignia on Opti...er Orion Pax. This time we were treated to an Appearance by Shockwave, staple Decepticons and Megatron as well as Shockwave introducing the newest threat, the Predacons! Sure, there can always be more, but we got more this time around. February (or whenever it starts) is going to be a very long wait
I'm looking forward to season three, but I'm definitely not frustrated or disappointed with the lack of news about it. Helps that I've been pretty busy lately, so I've had my mind on other things.
Oh I know we got more but that doesn't say much about the teaser for season 2. I just wish I had more to look forward to. I think Highmoon did an awesome job of building up the hype for the game. They did interviews, trailers, and demos. I think the margeting team that working on TFP has areas of opportunities. Even on the action figure side. When I got to my local stores, there usually only one row of figures and it's the same figure.
Disappointment? Over lack of info - no. The Beast Hunters stuff has me interested enough for now. Over it only being only 13 episodes instead of 26 - yes. Why Hasbro, why!
Season 2 just ended dude. Of course we're not going to get a lot of info. But we have gotten a sneak peek clip, and I'm pretty sure you already know that.
We'll get news soon enough. I'm excited for Beast Hunters since i'm of the few who isn't bitter and cynical with the show.
I'm a huge fan of the show! I am very excited about Beast Hunters, but I wish it was more than 16 episodes.
Agreed. There needs to be 26 in season 3... unless the 16 is like a mini-series to give us a taste of season 4. (what? Season 4's already been confirmed... let me dream won't you?!!!) jD001
Right there with ya, bud. I'd like to see more episodes of Season 3, but I guess Hasbro is happy with what they have for syndication... I'd like to see the show first before I can get excited about the toys, because right now what I've seen of the Beast Hunter line doesn't excite me. Well, maybe Predaking does.
I'm not as excited for Season 3 as I was for Season 2 mainly because at the time of the season 1 cliffhanger, I was under the impression the writers on the show were going to do something really big with Optimus/Orion Pax's role with the Decepticon's but they didn't. It ended up being short lived just like all the other plot lines of Season two. Still enjoy the show, just not as excited as I use to be as a result of this.
Oh, oh, count me in! I'm eagerly waiting for the Autobots to fight dragons and dinosaurs and whatever the hell Megs tosses at them
