Which is your favorite and why?

I'd probably have to go with the 2nd one. Almost strictly for nostalgic reasons. It was the first one I had seen when I was younger and because I was so young, I loved it. The first one is pretty good. I watched it for the first time about a year ago. The third one isn't very good. I struggle to get through it. TMNT is actually pretty good. I prefer the tone of that film and the CGI was beautiful. Plus, we get more conflict between the brothers. I'd say it's my 2nd favorite

    The first and TMNT.

On the third movie though, not to derail the topic or anything, but I didn't find it as a disaster as everybody else seems to make. Some stupid moments? Sure, but I didn't hate it or treated it as the worst thing made by mankind.

It's been a long time since I've seen any of them, but probably the 2nd one, for the same nostalgic reasons of the OP. I mean, for better or worse, no one will forget "Ninja Rap."

I was disappointed with the first movie when I was a kid. I was stoked that it followed the original B/W comic storyline, but it annoyed the shit out of me that they all, with the exception of Raph, were Michaelangelo clones. I did like the interplay between Raph and Casey though.

The CG movie from a few years back is my favorite though.

^ My brother and I really like this one as well. :)

Outside of that, I also like the first one, TMNT, and Turtles Forever.

The first is the best. The second is pretty good for Super Shredder, Tokka and Razar, but loses points for me due to becoming more kid friendly (no more cursing, Ninja Rap). The third isn't pretty unwatchable. TMNT is pretty excellent, I really like the character development between the brothers and Splinter is really cool here, but the villain is nothing special which is lame considering how long it had been since the last time a Turtles movie came around. Turtles Forever took care of that though.

i actually like them all. even the third, even if it is really stupid, it is hilariously stupid! :lol

but the first one, Turtles Forever, and TMNT have to be the best ones. the only problem with TMNT is that the plot, really has little to do with the turtles. It could of been any group of heroes in that story. Or hell, it could of been Ninja April the movie. Which still would of been cool. :lol

What always struck me odd is that the CGI TMNT was apparently suppose to tie in with the original movie universe. Even though the only real ref to the originals is that Spliter has a shelf of relics from the previous live action films.

And then theres Karai, who -If this is the oriignal movie universe- just is kind of there for no reason.

Honestly, even if they keep saying that TMNT was suppose to be the film series, it still feels to me like it could easily fit more into the 2003 toon series continuity.
I wonder if that was something that they were told to do, make it ambiguous enough so that they could say it's the film series, but any kid who came into the Turtles with the 2003 series would just except it as that continuity.

The first one is the best. The late 80s and early 90s was all about the TMNT for me. I saw the first movie in theatres four times. I really do like all the TMNT movies. Even the third one. But the first is the one that holds the most nostalgia for me.

The first movie is the best in my opinion, but TMNT is a close second. TMNT would probably be first place if the plot with Winters didn't seem so weak. TMNT did such a good job with the characters though(particularly Raphael). Secret of the Ooze isn't good, but I find it entertaining from a nostalgic point of view. I was always bored by Turtles In Time and the only thing I really remember about it is the very end of the movie.

This is somewhat related, but I think I should mention that my favorite turtle is Donatello.

The first one, though the 2007 one is a close second.
