i wuz just curious, all around the world people have all different beliefs and practices. so not to start a discussion about religion or anything, i was wondering what toys you all got for christmas, (tf only please) when you received it, and why the gifts were received and opened before dec 25th. for example...this year i got am breakdown, am gaia unicron, am smokescreen, and tfp rid ultra magnus. opened dec 9, reason for receiving and opening- my son is going out of state to his moms for the holidays so we wanted him to be able to enjoy his gifts before leaving and my wifes GIFT is alive so it couldnt stay wrapped under the tree for very long... so... yaay! early christmas for meee!!! although we would usually wait till the actual day, this was a unusual circumstance so we said why not. hope someone else will have stories to tell as well.

 

Well I believe I finished my Christmas Shopping.

Its just that with all the sales on toys specificly I picked up some robots for me as general shopping while doing the Christmas shopping.
Just makes it a lot more fun when I'm hunting for bots as well.

I bought two gifts at toys r us. But I got a NECA spring loaded holster robotcop and got 50% off the stark tech armor captain america thanks to a coupon.

Got a gift from tuesday morning. But then bought some old mega bloks neo shifters and mega bloks dragons toys at 25% off and one of the dinobot minicons.

Went to target and walmart. Gifts again. But also bought six vehicons two rumbles and a Kup at $9.99 each useing the aldi toy book for ad match.
also had coupon for 20% off so I picked up the ninja turtle shellraiser.

Got some first edition toys from the toys R us website. And they refunded me and let me keep the two first edition prime arcees they mistakenly sent out.
So that was really cool.

Did finally get one first edition vehicon though. Very nice figure do to the interesting Transformation. Lots of twists.

Finally I ordered a few gifts from hobby link japan. But wound up buying myself quite a few sale toys. Revoltech Genobreaker, some kotobukia Full metal panic models, and three phone braver toys: Medic, Analyzer, and DX Braver Third.

Hobby link Japan and robot kingdom should have my last couple preorders up this month. Just waiting on Masterpiece Red Alert, the fansproject deluxe insecticons set, and the master shooter decepticons set to fulfill those preorders and send those huge boxes out.

 

Finished my shopping as well.

I hope to get MP-10, or Hot Spot for Christmas.

 

No TF's for me this xmas....Takara and TRU put an end to that with the delay of MP Soundwave and TRU's refusal to stock MP10 in the uk till the new year.

I've bought way too much stuff for myself recently, so I decided to buy a GDO Hot Spot for my godson instead.

 

As far as Transformers I have Masterpiece Prime and the War for Cybertron game to look forward to on Christmas.

 

Earliest we will be doing presents this year is Christmas Eve. I don't know anything I am getting but Fall of Cybertron for PS3 is a possibility. I did buy myself a rather expensive early present that came in yesterday, Sideshow's 24" Boromir statue. Not a Transformer but if you're a Boromir fan (as I am) this is a thing of beauty. Just need to find a good way to display something of this size and awesomeness.

 

All I know is that im gettin 2 things TF...

 

no idea if I'm getting anything TF related. friends and family have a hard getting TF stuff for me cause I likely have already bought stuff that I like.

I did pick up a vtech brok switch n go dino on sale for my little nephew. Not a TF but pretty damn cool for little kids. Quality looks pretty rugged too. He'll probably love it.

I won't be getting any TFs from anyone else this Christmas. I ordered an Encore Fort Max for Christmas, but he's not due until what? March? Probably going to be delayed until the middle of next year anyway.

I'm still waiting for the Birthday present I ordered for myself too... but otherwise pretty much all Christmas presents going out (not TFs) are wrapped and ready to go.

 

Wow sounds almost like my month. My Parents are buying me a Detolf for my Birthday (12/22) and found out that they bought me MP-12 ( thanks to the Fiance)

Once Fiance found out she was getting diamond earings / necklace ( to wear for our wedding day) I as well had the full clearance to go nuts. Since then...
