got my gator, gorilla and threepack of birds today they feel like they are getting bigger especially the birds
From what I can tell from comparison pics I seen online, the Beast Saga toys are indeed a little bit bigger than the original Battle Beasts.
Just got this month's new single figures - Turrock(Turtle) and Rhinas(Rhino). both amazing little figure! too bad Turrock's back shell prevents his shoulder rotation though.
Ah, okay, well that's not horrible. EDIT: Also, new photos are up showing off some of the new figures in the six pack: http://blog.goo.ne.jp/skp816/e/3683e6056aa21c261352219518b297ee
Just yell it out loud and you'll know. If not, look at any dumb expression on a pidgeon and combine that with a killer cyborg body and you'll understand. These figures are looking too damned good. The last thing I need is to collect for ANOTHER toyline, but every photo I see makes me want them more. How many are out right now? Looks like a solid 50 figs from what I can see...
25 right now, without Burst Clear version. http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/beastsaga/character/index.html TT says they want to release up to 100 figures...
And here are photos of the owl and parrot: ¥Ó¡¼¥¹¥È¥µ¡¼¥¬ Φ³¤¶õDX¥¹¥¿¡¼¥¿¡¼¥»¥Ã¥È ¤½¤Î2 - ¾ëÀ¾¥É¥ó¥¬¥ë¥É¥ó
Luckily they are fairly cheap at 8 bucks a piece from TFSource and BBTS, if they are still in stock there.
So, apparently the Tiger in the upcoming December Release has a special rotating die, the values on 4 of the 6 faces of the die can be changed. He has his Emblem and a 9 that cannot be changed however. Using the Card shown on Takara's site, I went through a few possible permutations of what numbers he can have which can vary. I think his best available combination, game wise is [E-9-8-7-4-1]. I look at it like this. The Emblem is a win, 9 and 8 are probably wins (that's 50% chance of probable wins), 7 is maybe a win, but most likely you will need to use an extra die. However you will be at an advantage. So that's 66% wins/advantage with Magic dice. 4 you will need to use a magic die to win, and you'll be at a disadvantage, but not completely dead, and 1 is a lose, but so are 2 and 3, so 1/6 as a lose is pretty good.
Huh, the vehicles transform from cubes, I didn't realize that. That makes them a bit more interesting than I thought.... but still nowhere near as cool as the old playsets and chariots. So how small are these things? Obviously those little beast figures are miniaturized, but are there any size specs or comparisons mentioned?
yeah, the vehicles would be cool if they were scaled up so they could fit 3 of the normal sized figures rather than these smaller ones. They look cool, but if the guys I already have can't drive them I'm not going to be getting them.
