I really hope more guests are announced that have actually contributed to the Transformers franchise, as I would really like to fly out to this. I dont care for two attention seeking fanboys.

Wow this convention sounds like fun but alas this is too far away for me.....

Cool that Jon Bailey and Hal Rayle will be there.

We've got another guest announcement today!

We are very pleased that our next guest for Charticon 2013 will be David Sobolov! His major Transformer roles include Depth Charge from Beast Wars and Shockwave from the current hit TV series: Transformers: Prime. David also played Brawl on the 2007 Transformers Movie Video Game and was slated to voice Megatron in IDW's All Hail Megatron Motion Comic before the project was canceled. In addition to his TF roles, David has an impressive resume of video game and animation characters including Robocop in Robocop: Alpha Commando, Dr. Garret Bryson in Mass Effect 3, Azmodan in Diablo 3 plus many more. We are thrilled to welcome David to the show!

As always, check out our website and facebook pages for more information on how you can register. We are looking to have a great lineup for our first show!

Nice. I met David Sobolov at Slagacon in 2011, great guy and he signed my Depth Charge figure. Now... will Hasbro have a Prime Shockwave toy to market before Charticon?!

Forget Lobo. You forget Tatsurion the Unchained/Bob from Kaijudo. Honestly that's the only reason i even watch it.

Really looking forward to this con. It's gonna be on my mind all year. I haven't been to NC since BC 01! Gonna be different as I haven't been in over a decade.

We're really looking forward to it too. I loved BC 01 as that was my very first 'con so we are hoping to recapture some of that more intimate gathering feel.

But there will still be plenty of toys!

Yes, that's what I love in TF conventions. The intimate feel. I've gone to other cons and they don't seem to have that vibe. Maybe it comes from our fan community and how we operate, or maybe something else. Either way, it's a good thing.

And trust me, I'm gonna buy plenty of those toys :)
