...is the most symbolic and beautiful gesture of love for a figure and destruction of AFA property that I have ever seen. You just made my day :D

    Please keep the shattered case!

OMG AFA on an MDF shelf! Only broke asses have MDF shelves lol

Seriously good piece man and total respect for breaking that thing out of the case.

I had to do it. I felt bad for the little guy. Roadranger was making fun of him for being stuck in solitary confinement.

Hey now that MDF shelf is nicer than what I use for my TFs! That is our blu ray rack. I just cleared it off for the pic. lol.

I didn't open it to slam AFA collectors. I'd like to have a MOSC prerub Huffer in an AFA case. A loose AFA Puffer stuck in truck mode though just wasn't going to happen. He looks way too nice in robot mode...at least to these eyes.

    lol nice one

glad to see you got a puffer, and even better for freeing it from that case, my question, if a figure is taken out of the case, is that recorded on afa's lists? lol

I totally get it man, it is mint loose anyway, but I would still be a bit scared if I were the one opening the case, hehe. :)

BTW, were you the one who won the Microchange (big box) one on Ebay? :)

Guilty as charged on the Microchange. :)  I'll have a small box one coming soon as well.

Yeah I was scared to open the case. Not something I'm looking to do again anytime soon. It wasn't easy to get into.

Awesome move - especially since I personally never saw the point of AFA'ing loose toys. "Set them free!" :)

BTW, that liberation pic made me notice something: The yellow chest sticker on the IGA Puffer is placed close to the top of the torse - something I've seen on other IGA Puffers/Huffers now that I think of it. This is where the sticker was placed on the MicroChange release, before Hasbro moved it down to allow for the Autobot symbol. I find it veeeeeery curious that IGA kept theirs at the top there...

As was mentioned, Huffer was indeed planned to be included with MP-10, and was drawn and spec'ed out. I think if the Masterpiece line is indeed planning to release all the 1984 characters (I has been mentioned before, but could be pure speculation), Huffer would be an awesome addition. How could you not want this...?

Today was a banner day for my Huffer collection. I bought a light blue European, El Greco (Greek), small box Microchange, original Takara with the box and a loose reissue from the Takara Collection. I added them to the rest of my collection and took some pics.

Congrats on your awesome new aquisitions! I regret selling two of my '85 Huffers, they look great as a squad or troop. :)

I haven't read all posts in this thread, so please forgive me if these have already been mentioned.

Firstly the IGA Huffer has standard, 'dull' blue parts, not metallic.

Also, in addition to the Transformers Kabaya kit (of varying colours, including a chrome gumball prize) there is a larger kit that was part of the microchange line available in two colours. Black/red + red/black I believe.

Thanks for the information Ras on the Kabaya kits. It is much appreciated. Maz describes IGA Huffer's blue as "sparkly". To me that is an apt description.

Jingjing, I can't answer your question on the Dairycon Pretender.

Question for you guys in the know, do we actually have any visual confirmation of peach/blue Huffers from Peru? Maz mentions it in one of his TF-1 articles
"Huffer: Peach/Blue (Standard TF colour almost - no chrome,) Peach/Yellow (no chrome), Blue/Yellow (no chrome), Red/Yellow (no chrome)"

I have seen pictures of the other three color variations but not the peach/blue. I've been conversing with someone that is a collector in Peru and he said he is not aware of peach/blue Huffers from Peru.

I mean the IGA Pipes is sparkly, but the regular IGA Huffer is dull. At least mine is..
