You do all realize that's Prowl and Arcee standing over Wheeljack right? And it sounds like Nick Roche will be cleaning up some of Costa's mess as well. Very interesting...
That's kind of leaping to conclusions. They could have just found Wheeljack like that. Covers aren't the most trust-worthy when it comes to this kind of stuff.
I love these all except for the requisite Prime comic. Who does not like a return of a once thought dead Megatron? Furman did it, so too will the ongoing IDW. At least IDW Starscream has proven himself to be a capable politician. I wonder where his and Metalhawk's relationship will go after this? They kind of had a pre-great war Skyfire/Starscream friendship going on. I am sure that he is cool to hang out with regardless if he is a Decepticon. The big hitter will be Regeneration One. Primus was thought to be permanently dead. Well resurrections always happen and this might be a welcome relief for Octopunch who was thought to of killed Primus. If I was him, I would be breathing a sigh of relief. Also, looks like we are getting the set up for a real Marvel Rodimus Prime. The fight between Megatron and Prime HAD to happen. Furman got it out of the way first. I loved it. I know there are people on here who hated it. That is fine. It looks like their concerns can be lifted as we see in these solicitations that the resurrection of Scorponok will not be anything like the Maximum Dinobots. I am pumped. I am pumped for Spotlight Megatron, RID, MTMTE and Regeneration One. IDW... TAKE MY MONEY so I cannot spend it on the toys you are advertising!!!
What toys? There's always a drought during first quarter no matter what tf line it is so what's $16 plus tax this coming Feb?
Man, every time I see that IDW black stealth bomber Megatron design, I can't help but be filled with sadness that we have yet to receive that design in a show or in figure form.
Excited for RotD, can't wait for it to start. Megatron's return though raises an eyebrow. Hope its done well after this past year without him
LOL... "No! Kryptonite! Me Grimlock's only weakness!!" Megatron SPotlight sounds like fun (just wish this stealth bomber design... went away) and I think the MTMTE story will be a lot like the movie "The Cell"... Overlord's mind is not a nice place to be.
Octopunch only woke him up with that shot. Unicron killed Primus, when he was in Xaaron's body... I guess much like in WFC, he was only regenerating and isn't fully dead. And... what will he do now without Unicron to stop? I am sure we saw the 'demons' in the previews/dreams in issue 80.5 for a reason. Primus is not 100% a good god... he has his own shady past.
Knowing Barber's storytelling and how he throws interesting storylines out the window... yeah, I am expecting that too. Needles for fingers, yes? Where have you been when Chromedome accessed Shock's or Skids' memories? He is obviously going to try and access Overlord's memories. Last issue revealed someone did the same with Red Alert, and although I am sure he did it AFTER finding his head, and isn't the murderer, he does know about Overlord now.
