This was mixed in with a large vintage G1 collection I recently bought: No markings on it that I could see other than the fact that it obviously used the G1 Thrust Wings. The plastic is this color, it is not painted. Any ideas?
Looks like G2 Ramjet to me. But like others have said, it has Thrust's wings. I'm not sure why the wings are purple though, but it looks to be a shade or two lighter than Ramjet's body. Maybe it's a custom?
In your pictures, the shade of purple on the wings doesn't match the rest of the body. Everything else - body, fists, missile launchers/missiles, looks like G2 Ramjet. My guess - someone painted up some G1 Thrust wings and put them on a G2 Ramjet. My other less likely to be correct guess - this is a very weird KO.
Looks like a custom. The body is G2 Ramjet's, but G2 Ramjet's chest/air intakes should be black, not silver, so it looks like one from a G1 Thundercracker or Skywarp. Fists should be teal, and the cockpit cover should be purplish, not blue: Shmax.com: Part Details There are KO G1 Seeker jets out there: My KO Transformers & Etc: Update - (Slight Undersize) KO G1 Thrust, Acid Storm that do come with blue cockpit covers. Also this color looks close to the purple on the wings (image found on iOffer): http://cdn100.iofferphoto.com/img3/...ic-g1-seeker-purple-color-ver-figure-7b9f.jpg I'm not sure if the wings can be disassembled at all, but if they can, it's a combination of legit G1 parts and KO wing parts, most likely. If they can't, I'm guessing custom wings. MIKE engledogg
Actually, looking closer at the wings in sunlight, they are painted. It is very, very close match in person and the paint is done very, very well. What was throwing me off, though, is that the thrusters, flip down feet, knee pads(?), and arm outer panels were all black where the G2 Ramjet's are all a Blueish color. Also, the chest panel on mine is silver where the G2 Ramjet's is black. Ramjet_14.JPG - Ramjet - TFW2005.COM Looking over it again, I found the copyright "1992 Hasbro Inc". Looks like it is just a custom.
Well, at the very least, it's a pretty slick custom you got there. If I were you, I'd get some reprolabels to dress him up a bit and display him with my G2 figures.
My opinion is that it is a garish, but nicely done custom/kitbash. I myself did some things like that. Hard to see in the old pic, but my Ramjet is behind Blitzwing and Hurricane (blue Thrust) is behind my Spychangers:
Gotta sell this one. Have quite a bit of cash wrapped up in this collection and gotta recoup every penny possible. Got some real good stuff in this lot (headmasters, targetmasters)! Will be listing it soon <------------------
Here's another entry in my "what in the world is this?" thread- One of the back tank treads is obviously broken. Also the Autobot sticker seems as old as the toy, although it could have been added to the toy when it was first acquired by the original owner. Doesn't really look like it could transform. Any ideas?
Thanks for the Gundam tip! I was kind of thinking of some sort of model kit, but I wanted to be sure. The plastic definitely has a different feel than a typical Transformer.

I think he looks pretty darned cool. Thrust is my favorite seeker design and Skywarp has my favorite seeker colors. This combines both into one jet.
