No, if it's like Oblivion and Morrowind's Expansions, you can install one at a time.

$10 says the "old" Dragonborn is
Reman Cyrodiil. SOURCE:http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Reman_Cyrodiil. St. Alessia (the true first Dragonborn) became one with the Amulet of Kings with Lorkhan's help, and Tiber Septim became Talos so it shouldn't be either of them.

Plus, Reman was supposed to have been killed by the Morag Tong which adds to the Morrowind connection for this expansion.

It's been on sale on Steam a few times already, and I am willing to bet it will go on sale during the Holiday Sale.

I think it's the 4th December...or it might be the 27th November, but I think that's actually the date for some ME3 DLC, I can't remember

Oh man I can't wait to get a new Xbox and use the bow again (that was all I ever used in my 2nd playthrough), Archery in real life isn't as exciting :lol

There is some great Archery stuff in Dawnguard if you haven't gotten a chance to play it yet.

Then just send me $10 right now. Unless Reman Cyrodill was immortal (or was another incarnation of Ysmir) that ain't possible. The Dragon cult ruled during the Merethic era. Thousands of years before Reman's time.

    New screenshots are out:
    Dragonborn DLC Shots

Red Mountain must have had magma flow to the north-west because it looks much closer now then it did 200 years ago.

There is a difference in being able to use Dragon Shouts, and being a Dragonborn. Seems like just about anyone in time can learn Dragon Shouts, but only a select few are born Dragonborn.

Reman was the product of King Hrol and the Spirit of St. Alessia so he's got a touch of the divine by birthright. As we saw with the three God-Kings, a touch is all you need to eventually attain CHIM, so maybe he was able to escape his supposed death at the hands of the Morag Tong (and ignore things such as entropy to still be around now) or a Dragon Break occurred.

Remember, Tosh Raka most likely became another oversoul for Ysmir just like Tiber. Reman could have done the same thing.

I could be wrong, but unless it's St. Alessia in disguise, the whole "first" Dragonborn thing doesn't fit on anyone else.

Easier explanation. Alessia is the first known Dragonborn, but not THE first Dragonborn. That would be the Dragon priest antagonist in this expansion. Here's the thing, everything about all the previous Dragonborn is lore. And Bethesda tends make that "realistic", by which I mean it can be full of bullshit, tall tales, and outright propaganda. Alessia isn't even her name, it's a title she had (High Highness). So you're making a really bad assumption, that they're are only 3 previous Dragonborn's (the founders of the first 3 Imperial dynasties). Even the lore you find in Oblivion doesn't make assertions that Alessia was the first Dragonborn (where they called it Dragon blood).

And Tosh Raka is not an actual Dragon. He's just a Tiger man who turned himself into something resembling one. Also CHIM is stupid. At the most it's the dev's at Besthesda goofing around (which they do a lot). At worst fanboy wankery.

CHIM is fan wank, but good fan wank IMO. All Bethesda did was merge the Lovecraft Demon Sultan Azathoth idea (a god-head is dreaming reality) with the Buddhist Nirvana. It at least explains how Vivec and crew got powers, and how Dagoth Ur (who zero-summed in reverse and instead of becoming "awakened" was in a perpetual dream state) came back from the dead and why he didn't leave a body when killed (because he was never really there).

Now, that is if you trust Vivec's writings. If you personally think he's a liar, then I can see why you don't like the idea.

EDIT: Lars, I think we've run everyone else out of this thread, lol.

Vivec is always an interesting one, and quite possibly less than truthful. CHIM, however, is an interesting state of being and it'd be interesting to see how it could possibly manifest within the game (seeing as it is at its simplest a realisation of being a story character).

Oh yeah, Dawnguard was great, wasn't too fond of the way Crossbows played though, although I did like the exploding bolts, those were great :D
Woah what's the Hanar doing there?
